Leigh was more beautiful than he'd ever imagined.

Okay, no rainbow highlights. No green eyes. No lipstick. Leigh has light brown skin, long dark hair twisted up into a bun, and caramel-coloured eyes. She wasn't short like he'd thought, but about 1'65 and just the right size. Leigh had a purple SPQR T-shirt on (and he wanted it bad), shorts, and flip-flops. Probably not hospital-approved, but she looked good nevertheless.

And closed up. Too closed up.

Colton didn't know how she felt about him. Did she think of him the same way he does of her? Or was he just a suicidal wimp in her eyes? He tried to strike a conversation, and it kinda worked - until it backfired totally.

"... will you go on a date with me?" She asked, with an adorable blush on her cheeks; and somehow this felt worse than getting bitch slapped into Tartarus.

"Wow. Am I that horrible?" Leigh spoke, and Colton realised he'd been thinking aloud. He quickly fixed:

"Well, getting bitch slapped through Tartarus and into the Phlegethon, where I... uh, heal instantly. Happy?"

"No. I'd rather you burned." She replied, sounding partly relieved as the awkwardness was lightened. "But... will you though? I mean, uh, you can totally say no, because I know there's still this thing between you and your ex, and..."

"You can stop that now. I hereby proudly declare I have nothing else to do with her." Colton said, grinning ear to ear. "But, I can't go on a date with you just yet."

"And whyyyyy is that?" Leigh asked, and Colton realised she has dimples.

"Well," He answered. "My dad is arranging stuff for my sister's upcoming funeral, and... yeah."

"Oh. Oh, yeah." Leigh's face fell a little. "Well then... I don't suppose we can go anytime soon."

"Psshhh, don't stress over it. I know you want to date me, like, ASAP, but take a chill pill. Us gods are occasionally very busy you know." He laughed and sat up. Leigh gave him this funny look, and then she abruptly leant in, so close that Colton could feel her hot breath on his lips. He remained absolutely still and tensed. Was she really going to...?

"Bitch you thought." As fast as she's leant in, Leigh straightened. Colton felt himself heating up at the speed of light, and he retorted, almost squeaking from embarrassment:

"What the literal fudge? God, I hate you!"

"Yeah, and I'm a peacock." Leigh grinned, and she leant in again, but this time it was for real. Her soft lips brushed his, and for a moment Colton swore he saw his entire life flashing before his eyes. Sure, he'd kissed his ex-girlfriend before, but... this was different. Leigh was different.

She pulled away, and he drew a large breath. Leigh smiled, one he couldn't really read.

"Get better!" She was still grinning when she walked out, finally giving him some peace. Colton lied back down, trying to clear his head; and finally, drifted into a dreamless, peaceful sleep, because he knew, he won't have to wake up to nothingness this time.

WHOOP WHOOP THIS IS THE ENDDDD :)

Some of you might notice I did a little redecorating :D But nevermind that. "Teenage Helpline" is officially finished!

If you guys want to, check out "Parent Helpline", which is kinda the sequel but can be read alone, and also completed. It's more serious than this one, but generally same format and stuff.

Thank you all for reading my story :)) I know it's not the best one ever, but I'm glad people who enjoyed it did.

Mia.
