Tris
"I'm not sure if this is legal but I'll ask my boss and get back to you as soon as possible." One of the nurses named Brandi says. I've gotten to know them without even having to see them. Their voice and their footsteps are they only ways of letting me know.
"That's sounds great." That voice is familiar, I don't know who's it is. I think I've heard them in the corridors outside a lot.
A few minutes later I hear Brandi's footsteps again.
"She says that's fine." I can hear the fake cheeriness in her voice. She doesn't want them to take me. I know it.
"Okay, let's get her in the bag." The deep, calm voice says. I feel multiple hands slide underneath my back, calves and head.
"Now, bring her up gently." My body slowly rises.
"Guys be gentle, this is a dead body you're working with." A few chuckles emerge from the crowd of people lifting and lowering me.
"Do you guys know who this brave female is?" If I could I would burst into laughter. Brave. Pffft.
"Oooooh, ooooh! I know." A small, high pitched voice squeals.
"Anyone other than Bianca?" I hear shuffles of people probably looking around to see if anyone knows who I am. I hear a sigh.
"This is Tris Prior, she was in the Chicago experiment." The manly voice says.
Silence.
"The one with the factions."
"Ohhhhhh." The group sighs. How do they not know? They should at least teach them about this stuff. These people treat us, the ones that lived in the experiment, like we're test subjects, which, I guess we are but they could show a little more respect, we're also human. The experiment was my whole life but to them it was just another stupid experiment.
"Ok guys lets get her to the lab." The lab!?
"Mr. Prior wants her as soon as possible." Mr. Prior? Caleb?
