Those next few days were bliss.
He befriended the new group and Phil was happy.
There was no pressure to go into much description of his rocky past.
These were the trial runs of friendship.
He cherished the beginning because he inferred that pretty soon they would become bored of him.
Just like so many others had.
He had a couple classes with each of them except last hour.

The best part of the day was lunch.

"You know what I hate you," Gigi half screamed half laughed across the table to Tyler throwing a French fry and hitting his glasses.

"Love you too Gi," he smiled his sweetest smile over to her and she rolled her eyes.

The whole table was cracking up at Tyler's comment about what Gigi makes her boobs out of.

"I was just pondering on the subject and wanted to ask," he had said defensively.

"Well next time shut your mouth," she said threatening to throw another fry.

"Any way, any way," Connor waved off the subject and leaned in across the table bringing his voice low and secretive, " have you found anyone-" he wiggled his eyebrows in an odd manner, "-worthy?"

Troye, Tyler, Ash, and Gigi looked interested in Phil's answer and they all leaned in making Phil uneasy about his answer.
"No not really, I mean I don't know many people and no one is really good looking so I guess time will tell,"
"Ugh, no guys or girls?" Ash looked over sympathetically.
"Oh stop Ash he will find someone." Tyler looked over at her then to Phil.
"She believes that when you are with someone, you will only be successful if you knew that you liked them the first time you meet." He looked over the rim of his glasses like an all seeing librarian like she was crazy.
"I believe that love is a beautiful thing." Ash says looking away to fix her black spiked choker.
"Says someone who can't ask a girl out if her life depended on it," Connor jumps in.
"My shyness towards females does not help my love life but at least my eyes can take in the beauty," she says kind of solum then looks off towards something else.
" OMG, I just realised that we have to add you to the group convo," Troye puts out his hand expectedly for his phone. Phil takes note of his use of omg in real life.
"We should totally do something this weekend." Gigi says as Troye types away.
"Yaaasss," Connor says turning his composure a bit feminine.
They all started conversing after he received his phone back.
All that Phil could think was what his mother would say about his new friends.
