Phil's POV

We walked in the comfy café one at a time through the the slim door. The fairy lights immediately caught my eye.
They were strung all across the ceiling
expertly, sending a warm light all through the café, mixing with the natural light shining through the large windows. Along these windows were little nicknacks all precisely placed evenly on the light wood shelves hung.
Everything had an aesthetically pleasing warm flow to it.
Everything in here must have taken eons to coordinate for it to look this good.

Ash went up to look at the hung menu smiling at the girl behind the counter. She had split dyed hair, half black half white. On her apron there was a name tag that in pretty handwriting read 'Melanie'. I recalled her being in my fourth hour class.

All of us ordered our coffee but I noticed that Ash was a tad bit stuttery while reciting her's to Melanie.

I ship it

Connor and I pushed together two tables to fit all six of us and sat down in the same relativity as our lunch table.

"You know Phil, before you came along we would not sit exactly the same way each day at lunch." Tyler looked at me his hands intertwined on the table and a concentrated look on his face.
I did not know how to react to that, I mean how do you?

"That not a bad thing," he added on probably reading the confusion on my face. "I don't know, it's sort of like you brought all of us together more, it's hard to explain."

I smiled softly at him, knowing now that he wasn't bashing me or anything.
Then everyone had a content smile plastered on their faces while thinking off to themselves in a comfortable silence. Troye even rested his head on Tyler's shoulder sighing contently while looking up into the fairy lights. I however observed the group.

A couple minutes later this was broken by Melanie walking up struggling to keep six coffees in her arms without dropping any of them.
The closest to her, Troye and Connor, got up to help her set them on the table to be taken by their designated owner.

"Thank you so much but we could have gotten them," Gigi chuckled lightly getting her frappé from the middle of the table.

"Oh, no it's perfectly fine," Melanie smiled fully at her, showing off the cute gap between her two front teeth.

I noticed her cast a sideways glance at Ash, they made eye contact for one second and looked away quickly, red lightly brushing their cheeks.

Definitely ship it.

Melanie then quickly shuffled away back to the counter.
Connor was obviously catching up on what I had because he was giving Ash a knowing look.

"What?" Ash piped up embarrassingly seeing that everyone was looking at her.

"Oh, nothing," Connor said this with so much sass that you could taste it. He brought up his coffee to his lips and took a sip.
His gracefulness was short lasted and he spit out the drink cursing at the temperature, causing the table to burst out laughing.

I added in my say every now and then in the conversation but my joy was mainly in watching their smiles.
