Phil's POV
Today is going particularly well.
I got okay sleep last night because of the new pills my doctor gave me.
He was hesitant because of what happened last time.I did not pass the demon squirrel cult that lives in the tree in my front yard as I was waking to school.
I haven't gotten homework in any of my classes (so far).
Last hour in lunch I had a particularly nice conversation with Dan about the importance of curtain colours.
He smells pleasant.
That sounds creepy wHupS.I am now sitting in literature.
The teacher is nice.
I like his outfit aesthetic today.
It is black with pastel green, it was unusual but suited him well. The school bell rings as I finish up with the close reads for The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe. Many of the students I noticed were rather on edge when Mr. Iero read it as we followed along. I however quite enjoyed the writing, very few things gore wise disgust me these days.
I guess the Internet has trained me in such ways. The soles of my converse thump quietly on the waxed hall floor tiles. That is one thing I like about the school itself, the cleanliness. I twist the code into my locker once I have arrived to my correct brown metal rectangular prism amongst the others standing in their straight formation.
The colour is ugly.I place my English book in the arranged placement I have put the others in as I gently slide out the one I need for my next Chemistry class.
I shut the locker.
I hear the click of the lock sliding into place. My hand clumsily glides the turner on the lock so it is not on the last number of my combination. It is something I have seen myself doing in a muscle memory sort of way. I had turned around in the direction of my next destination when I feel myself turn around. I do not know why I did it but I turned the piece so that it again was on the last number of my combination. Perfectly placed in between the one and the zero in the ten.I then actually head to my next class. In a jumble of bodies I have turned into unaware in my slight daze I bump into a brunette boy, I believe to be Sam, I had seen in my sixth hour. He was quite lanky and seemed like a douch. It is just the vibe that he puts off.
"He watch where the fuck you're going you fucking nerd." I now see that I sensed correctly.
"S-sorry," wow way to make yourself look like an exposed child Phil.
"Oh I couldn't hear you ya faggot. Repeat yourself, or is that freakishly large nose blocking your ability to speak?"
I had never been self conscious of my nose.
Now that fact has changed.I could not pipe up the word again in shock and embarrassment so I turned to try and abort the situation. However that most definitely did not suit him well so in a quick motion he slammed me against the lockers behind me.
He was just about to let words fall from his disgusting mouth when a voice beaconed his attention like a dog to a squirrel.
"What the hell are you doing Pepper?"Dan
Confusion over took Sam, then rage. He stiffened his hold on my collar taking me by surprise and I let out a choked breath.
Pathetic
"Howell you don't have any place to tell me what I can and can't do so mind your own fucking business or you might chip a nail." He snickered at what he thought was a clever come back.
Dan came barging forward right at Sam, knocking him to the side with full force from his body. Unfortunately on Sam's fall he kept a tight hold on my shirt and he pulled and in turn slammed me down to the ground next to him.
A loud ringing filled my ears as my head struck the floor, and I saw Dan right above me.
A/N: I'm sOrRy that o have not updated school has started back up and I'm having to deal with a dick teacher in American History.
