The Lost Wolf Princess

Chapter 10

She ran to Tyler and threw her arms around him.

"I'm sorry! I shouldn't . . . ", she was stopped by Tyler pressing his lips against hers.

It was a long kiss, and Rose wished it would've lasted longer. He pulled away, and gently put his arms around her and kissed the top of her head.

"Don't cry, love, we'll get you out of here.", he whispered.

She hadn't even realized she was crying. Then she heard Todd in her head.

"So no hug for me?"

She and Tyler broke apart, and she crouched down to hug Todd. His fur was soft and warm and she buried her face in his neck.

Then she heard someone clearing their throat. She stood up and saw her sister staring intently at her. Her eyes were full of shock as she glanced at Tyler.

Rose giggled and wrapped her arm around Lillie's shoulders.

"Tyler, Todd, this is Lillie, my sister.", she said, pulling Lillie closer to her and smiling.

Tyler looked shocked at this, but Todd wasn't fazed.

He lowered his head and tail, as if bowing, and said, "It is an honor to meet you, Princess Lillie. My name is Todd."

Rose smiled as she saw Lillie's expression. It was one of pure shock and embarrasment. She silently laughed as a blushed appeared on Lillie's face.

"Thank you.", Lillie muttered, not knowing what else to say.

Tyler stepped forward.

"Hi, I'm Tyler.", he said as he held out his hand. Lillie smiled, releived, and took his hand to shake.

Good, now everybody knows who everybody is, thought Rose.

"Now that we know each other, how about we get out of here?", Rose said. They all nodded in agreement and stood to leave, but were stopped by a voice behind them.

"I don't think so.", the voice said and they spun around. Rose recognized the man instantly. It was the man who had killed Danny. She shivered, remembering the horrific scene.

"Ahh," he said, "so you remember our little encounter, Rose?" He looked at her with a cold stare and she shivered again.

He pulled a large dagger from his coat and smiled evilly. "And I beleive It's little Lillie's turn now." He laughed a cruel laugh.

Lillie screamed and Todd growled as the man took a step forward. But then he stopped, and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. He fell to the ground dead, blood pouring from his neck.

His killer was a rather large, orange female tiger. She fixed her golden eyes on Tyler. They seemed to be speaking telopathically, the same way Rose and Todd talked.

Tyler turned his gaze to Rose and he looked relieved.

"It's okay, she's on our side. Her name is Kiarra and she is my gaurdian. She says we should leave soonvbecause there's trouble at the school."
