The Lost Wolf Princess

Chapter 11

"What do you mean, there's trouble at the school? What kind of trouble?", Rose questioned.

Tyler shrugged and turned to Kiarra again. He talked to her for a little bit, then he looked at Rose.

"The Wolves have returned, and they know that your gone. They're declaring war on the Tigers because they blame them for you going missing. We have to stop them, or they'll kill each other.", he said.

His voice was steady, but Rose could see the worry behind his eyes.

"Did you say that the tiger was your gaurdian?", Lillie said, startling everybody, for she had been quite before.

"Umm yeah. Why do you ask?", Tyler said looking at her.

"But that means you are of the Tiger Colony, and you kissed Rose.", Lillie stated.

Rose saw anger flash across Tyler's face. He opened his mouth to say something but Rose inturuppted.

"Can we just go?", she said.

"Sure.", Tyler mumbled, still looking at Lillie.

Kiarra started to walk away, and everybody followed her. She led them to a small hole in the farthest right corner of the room.

How had she not seen this?, Rose thought.

Kiarra crawled through the hole. They all looked at each other.

"Well, who's going next?", Tyler said. They all looked at Lillie.

"Oh, no. I'm not going through there.", she said, backing up a bit.

"But your the smallest here." Rose said. Lillie shook her head.

"No I'm not. Todd is.", Lillie said. She crossed here arms. Rose rolled her eyes.

"Fine, but your going next.", she said and turned to Todd.

"Todd, your turn." He nodded his head slightly and crawled through the hole. Lillie sighed and layed down on her stomach.

She used her elbows and knees to crawl through the hole, and when she was on the other side, she called out,

"I'm here, so someone else go through." Rose glanced at Tyler.

"I'll go first.", she said and crawled through the hole.

As she was going through, she had just enough room to move around.

How is Tyler going to fit?, she thought.

She got to the other side, and told Tyler to go through.

She could hear him struggling in the small hole, but he finally made it to the other side. Rose looked around. She didn't have a clue were they were.

"Guys, do you know were we are?, she asked. They shook their heads.

"Rose, you can use your nose.", Todd said.

"Excuse me?, Rose questioned.

"You can use your nose, and find the scent of the school. We can follow it. I'll help you.", he explained.

Rose lifted her nose to the air and sniffed. She could smell a faint whiff of food, and ... blood? She shivered and looked at Tyler.

"I smell food and ... blood." Their eyes widened and they jumped up.

"They're already at war!" Tyler exclaimed and ran into the woods.

They all followed him.
