his eyes are frightened
his smile's broken too

someone please notice
the boy crying blue

every laugh is a lie
his heart is ripped in two

will anyone notice
the boy crying blue

the sadness inside
is eating him alive

everyday he wonders
how he'll ever survive

each minute is an eternity
every breath a huge chore

how could anyone ever
possibly want more?

he asked as he collapsed
crying on the bathroom floor;

the sadness inside
ate him alive

everyday he used to wonder
how he would survive

his eyes were frightened
his smile was broken too

did anyone ever notice
the boy who cried blue?

every laugh was a lie
his heart was ripped in two

no one ever noticed
the boy who cried blue
