"Congrats to the graduates" the hall echoed with claps and screams from the graduates as they threw their graduate cap in the air to celebrate. Groups of females holding hands, tears in their eyes as they cried with happiness. Guys on the other side giving different kinds of handshakes. Couples hugging the oxygen out of each other.
But in the corner, Jihye rolled her eyes as she waited for the whole ceremony to end. She threw her cap in the air multiple of times until the emcee announced the location of the after party. More screams were heard and all she could do was mentally block out the noises.
Hyeri jumped next to her as she sat down, "let's go party!" she grinned as she tried to control her excitement in front of her best friend who looked gloomy.
"Oh you party pooper Jung Jihye" Hyeri nudged her, trying to persuade her to move her butt to the next venue but nothing worked. "I need a job. What did I do to myself. There is like thousands of stylists in the industry, I might as well apply for Macdonalds. I can put make up on the clown" Jihye finally smiled.
"Oh I shall if the companies don't hire me. Tons of fans studied to be stylists to be close to their oppa and goddesses. There is so much competition out there" Jihye face palmed.
Hyeri watched her best friend talk to herself in the now almost quiet hall and chuckled, "Alright, I will help you find a job. Now will you at least relax and hang out with me, your mama?" she nudged her again and wriggled her eyebrows as soon as Jihye looked at her.
"That's ew, ma mama" she pouted at her and then laughed. "I'll depend on you then" she gave a short hug and stood up. "Let's go party, mama" Jihye looked down at Hyeri who stared back with wide eyes.
"You're a bipolar, I'll make sure the group I help you sign up for is more dangerously inhuman" she teased as she pulled her out to her car.
~A Month Later~
*Ring. Ring. Ring* the screen lit up as the incoming call disturbed Jihye with her afternoon nap.
"Sup mama" she answered the call and rubbed her eyes.
"I helped you apply for your job and apparently they want to see you today, like in 20 minutes" she squealed through the call and Jihye opened her eyes widely.
Hyeri blabbed about the details and the address of the interview, Jihye noted down the main points and quickly hung up to get refreshed to look good for the interview.
"Omg Omg Omg Omg!!" she cried as she splashed water on her face and began with her everyday make up. She jumped up and down as she looked through her clothes and found the most formal outfit she could found in the closet.
Jihye looked at herself one more time in the mirror and wore her sneakers before getting out of her apartment, not forgetting her heels. She got in her car and it was 5 minutes left, she became more nervous as she reached the destination.
She stared at the cafe for another second and quickly put on her heels and walked in. Her eyes scanned the cafe until she saw a a hand in the air, waving to gain her attention. The sound of her heels echoed in the cafe until she stopped and looked at the male in front of her.
'He looks familiar' her mind wandered off and came back as soon as he gestured towards the seat, telling her to take a seat.
"Jung Jihye?" he asked and she looked at him, fiddling with her fingers; nervous.
"You graduated from *** university with a certificate?" he asked and she nodded.
The male in front scanned through the documents and pulled out a paper and placed it in front her her with a pen. "Can you fill this please?" he asked and she filled it carefully.
'BigHit?' she stared at the header and signed before returning it.
He placed her hands out for a handshake and Jihye stared at it before giving a handshake. "I hope you enjoy your work, Miss Jung" he smiled but she didn't.
"I got the job?" she asked and he grinned.
"Our maknae is pretty playful so I hope you won't mind" he reminded and she was quiet.
"Pardon?" Jihye was obviously confused with the term "Maknae".
"You did apply for the position to be BTS stylist, didn't you" he asked and she bit her lips to prevent herself from cursing. She nodded instead and gave a fake smile.
"For the first few month, you will be following Mrs Cho..." he began to explain the type of work she is going to expect and also the hierarchy of the positions in which she should understand and follow for work purpose.
"BTS goes abroad a lot so the company will help you with your visa and passport problems" he continued while Jihye mentally strangle herself.
The representative got up and she followed, "I hope you will have fun with work, Miss Jung. See you in the company tomorrow at 4am" he smiled and bowed, she followed him again.
Jihye slumped on the seat as soon as he walked away and she immediately called Hyeri. "Yah, are you trying to ruin our friendship or you trying to send me behind the bars" she cursed at her bestfriend.
Hyeri bit her cheeks as she listened to her best friend complain. "I thought you knew how much I hated BTS and their maknae JingKoo" she looked around to see if there was any BTS fans cause they would kill her on the spot.
"I'm so sorry. But you needed a job and it totally slipped off my mind" she pouted and Jihye just gave a sigh, "It's alright, I signed the contract already and I'm starting work at freaking 4AM! I still haven't forgiven you though. I'll go buy dinner and go home now. Bye" She hung up and quickly got out of the cafe to buy chicken to have with her beer at home.
"WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE YOU BANGTAN! AND YOU JINGKOO" Jihye mumbled as she poked the air with her drumstick.
"I HATE YOU GUYS" her vision blacked out as she fell back, giving out small snores.
____________
The bell rang as Jihye pressed the button, she got out of the bus and rolled her eyes. "Because of who? Because of Hyeri!" She screamed out loud, making the elders stare at her worriedly. Jihye bowed at them, smiling to hide her embarrassment.
The sliding door was the only obstacle that was between Jihye and BigHit but she wouldn't call it a obstacle, it was a blessing for her but again, she needed a job.
A sigh escaped her lips and the door slid open.
"No way, they can detect like that?" Her ees widened and she opened her mouth to let out a sigh again. Before she could do anything, a figure walked out; staring at her from top to bottom.
"Who are you? You should go home and study" his words did not sound like advices but with annoyance.
'It's not like I'm your fan at all' She looked at the male and smirked.
'Target locked!'
