Mr Duchamp is back: Teddy imagine pt. 1

Everyone in Castle Rock was talking about it. Even at school it's all anyone seems to care about. Mr Duchamp is coming back from the mental facility he was in. All I cared about was Teddy. I'd had the biggest crush on him since I was like 5 so you can imagine how scared I was when I found out that his dad who had practically killed him was back in castle rock. I walked to the tree house and knocked on the door. Chris opened it and let me in before moving the table back over the door. "Hey y/n, have you heard that Teddy's dad is back?" Chris asked me "yeah" I replied sadly "you know it's not really that bad. The last I checked Teddy was really happy about it" Chris said with a sigh. "Yeah but what if he hurts him again Chris?" I wiped a stray tear that had fallen with my sleeve "he's better now y/n. He's not gonna hurt him. And by the way, do you by any chance have a crush on Teddy?" Chris asked me with a sly smile, I blushed and looked away slowly nodding. "Y/n and Teddy sittin' in a tree k.i.s.s.i.n.g" Chris sung in mockery. I blushed again then I heard someone knock on the door and Chris opened it again. My heart fluttered but sunk at the same time as I saw who it was. It was Teddy. "Hey guys!" Teddy said enthusiastically "hey man, you're in a good mood" Chris said giving me a sad smile as I sat there trying not to completely break down. "Yeah my dads back and it's so awesome. He's taking me fishing tomorrow morning and then-" Teddy got cut off by me slamming the tree house door shut "what the fuck is her problem?" Teddy asked Chris confused as to why I had left so abruptly "she's scared that your old mans gonna hurt you again" Chris said with a sigh.
