High school sweet hearts: Chris imagine

Imagine for Mattie pepsicola_8  I hope you like this. It's just a random idea that I came up with based on what you said you wanted.

Quick a/n: so just a quick reasoning behind why I use y/n , y/h/c and all that instead of your actual name, hair colour ect, it's because I want everyone to feel like they fit in the imagine and I personally find it hard to feel like I'm apart of the imagine when I'm reading if someone else's name is there so when I write I use y/n. So although y/n is there it's for you personally just made so other people can enjoy it too :).

You and Chris had been going out since you were 13. Through the good and the bad you'd both stuck together and even when you fought your relationship always came out stronger in the end.

Today was yours and Chris' 5 year anniversary. You couldn't believe that you and Chris had been together for a whole 5 years. Today was also your graduation day. Chris was in pure shock that he'd actually made it to graduation. He was the top of his class and was going to one of the best law schools in the country. You always knew that Chris could do it. Even when he doubted himself, you knew he'd always overcome any and all obstacles in his way.

Chris had been jumpy and nervous all day but you shrugged it off because you thought it was because of graduation. Boy were you wrong.

After a long ceremony and everyone throwing their hats in the air you headed to a post-graduation party at a massive hall. After eating dinner and dancing and socialising you heard the loud screech of a microphone. You looked over to the stage and saw Chris standing up there. "Attention everyone, I'd like to make a speech." Chris said sounding nervous. "Um so I'd like to thank all of my teachers and friends for supporting me through these past few years and helping me prove that I'm not just another low-life Chambers kid. But, most of all I'd like to thank my beautiful girlfriend y/n. Could you please do me a massive favour and come up here?" Chris said looking at you. You nodded your head and blushed, walking up to the stage. "Y/n, you've been my biggest inspiration in life. You've showed me that I am worth something and that I can be anyone and anything I want to be. I could never thank you enough for that. I love you more than I ever thought it was possible to love another human being. And I don't think I could ever love anyone again as much as I love my high school sweetheart..." your eyes brimmed with tears as Chris finished his sentence. You were going to kiss him but before you could he got down on one knee. "Y/f/n will you please do me the honour of becoming Mrs y/n Chambers?" You couldn't speak so you just nodded your head 'yes' as Chris put the diamond ring on your finger. Chris stood up and you kissed him passionately before hugging him. "I love you." You whispered in his ear, "I love you too y/n."
