You'd been feeling down for ages now and last week you'd been diagnosed with depression. You were too scared to tell anyone. Not even your boyfriend Teddy. You thought he'd think that you were crazy, you sure did feel like you were.

One afternoon you were sitting on your bed reading a book, when your bedroom door swung open. "Hey y/n! Wanna play army with me?" Teddy asked enthusiastically. You just shook your head and went back to reading your book. "Y/n?" Teddy asked, his voice much softer now. "Are you alright?" Suddenly something inside you snapped "FOR GOODNESS SAKE TEDDY LEAVE ME ALONE I HATE YOU AND I HATE EVERYONE AND I HATE LIFE!" You screamed, not only startling yourself but Teddy too. Teddy stood there shocked for a minute until something inside his brain clicked. "Y/n... I know what you're going through. It happened to my dad before he went nuts. He got really really sad. You don't have to hide it from me. You have depression so what? It's not your fault. It's a mental illness, it's just like having diabetes or something except there's no physical symptoms. It doesn't mean that your crazy or anything. It just means you're sick. And it's my job as your boyfriend to take care of you while your sick." Teddy came over and slowly pried the book out of your hands. "I love you more than anything y/n and we'll get through this. I promise." He said whilst moving a few stray hairs behind your ear. He pulled you into his arms and laid you both down, kissing your forehead every few minutes.
You knew that as long as you had Teddy, you'd be okay.

So this is an idea that was sent in aaaaggggeeess ago that's been sitting here for a long time. I hope you enjoyed this. It was short but I'm pretty happy with it.

Okay so, awhile ago someone left a request for an imagine where y/n goes looking for the dead body with the boys and I think that the comment has been deleted so if this was your idea please message me cause I absolutely loved it and really wanna write it!
