"Tony!-Tony!-Tony!"

Walking through the crowds seemed much more claustrophobic than the traffic in the streets. With not being 2 ton cars, people aren't afraid to push right passed you. Being use to flying in sky has made it seem impossible to deal with these crowded occasions...and just being socially awkward.

I wasn't sure exactly where Pepper and I were heading to. It was even hard to tell if you going the same direction. However, it seemed we were heading towards the flashing lights and the buzzing questions. I'm gonna take a wild guess.

"What am I going to do now? Probably turn this medal into an iron man mask. I like to save using the environment. Save the world, and all that jazz" Tony answered, walking through the reports and journalists.

Slowly pushing through, saying excuse me, we managed to reach one side of the red carpet. Surprises me that Pepper wasn't one to go on there.

"Come on" Pepper orders.

She grabbed my arm, wrapping it in hers. She lead me onto the red carpet.

Why is she doing this? Why is she bringing me? Man, this felt so uncomfortable. I felt my face burn as my face flushed in embarrassment, no doubt being as red as the carpet below us.

I could feel all the eyes on us. They didn't know who I was. I was just the stranger. More people gave attention to Pepper, knowing who she actually was. She smiled at the reporters, knowing what to do at these sessions. She'd had experience with the press.

At the the end of the carpet, I saw a limo parked, waiting for Tony and Pepper. Where was I going to go?

"Tony!" Pepper yelled, trying to his attention.

"Pepper!" Tony yelled back.

Oh shit...he sees me. Please God, I can't mess this up.

"You didn't tell me you were having an affair" Tony acted serious, taking off his glasses.

Is he mad at me? Does he think I'm dating her? Oh man, this has already gone wrong so fast. Too fast.

"I-".

"Just messing with you, kid...she hasn't proposed yet" Tony mentioned sarcastically, winking at Pepper, causing her to roll her eyes.

Pepper may of loved Tony, but she also cared for him. She always saw him as a child, not an adult. His humor was funny but stupid. Basically a teenager.

I chuckled, blushing a little. Not as red as I was before.

"This is Peter. He just joined working at our program at Oscorp" Petter introduced, leaving Tony checking me.

"Nice to meet you" Tony greeted.

I placed my hand out for a handshake but just started bowing. How could I do something boring and still do something embarrassing.

Tony noticed and before fully bowing, he stood up and shook my hand.

"That was embarrassing" Tony mentioned, laughing a little.

You're telling me.

"You nervous, Peter?" Tony asked.

Out of all questions, why this one?

"I...kind of".

No. Not kind of.

He grabbed my shoulder, causing me to look up at him.

"Don't be".

I felt a little better. It was still hard to tell how Tony was directing his attitude. He could act supporting at commanding at the same time. Just makes me confused. I guess that's what sarcasm does to you. He'd be a great actor though.

Tony opened the car door for Pepper, acting like a enthusiastic gentlemen.

"M'lady" Tony called, Pepper rolling her eyes again but going through it anyway.

"Why, thank you" Pepper plays along.

"Hey kid, wanna come along?" Tony asked, leaving the door open.

As much as I wanted to, I've had enough car rides for one day. Need to have some time to myself. Just the city and I.

"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm sorry" I apologized, trying not to sound I was laying them off.

They are my bosses. Can't already sound like I'm not wanting to follow their plans. I did just lose my job today. Not doing that again.

Tony looked a little upset. I'm guessing he isn't used to rejection. Does make sense. But what do I know. Don't know him very well. I do know his ego, however. I can just see from Peppers face that she knows it too well.

"Suit yourself" Tony responds, putting on his glasses.

"See what I did there". Tony chuckles at Pepper as the limo drives away, flashes of cameras hitting the car.

"I understood that reference".
-
"Oh crap".

I stood on top of the center, looking around at the city. New York was so pretty at the night...yet that was the problem. It's night.

I look at my watch. 9:30. I was supposed to be back by 7:30. It's even worse that it's a school night. Aunt Mays going to kill me, considering she already texted and called me, checking on where I was.

It would be better off if I don't respond. Hopefully I'm making the right choice. Probably not.

I grab my suit out of my backpack. I could still see the symbol in the dark. Spiderman. I'm far from it.

I undress on the roof. It's hard to find a hiding place on a roof when there are helicopters flying all over the city. Even more paranoid that I have to take off my clothes in sight. And yes, I don't wear anything under my suit. Too much chaffing. Trust me, it sucks.

Once I get dressed, I put my clothes into my backpack, putting it on. Walking to the edge, I look down below, seeing the public still down below.

"I'll make it easy for Jonah's new employees" I quote, being more confident.

I just off the roof, the crowd noticing me above. Before you know it pictures are taken as I swing by, waving at the cameras.

"Look, it's Spiderman!"

Multiple people yelling, calling me out. It felt nice to be noticed, and not as the nerdy, polite Peter Parker.

"Drive safe!"
