Decomposing Feelings

Chapter 15

With those words he spoke, I was immediately transferred to the land of the living. I woke up 10 feet under the ground, in my very own coffin. It was dark, endless darkness in there. I could feel a lot of strength, strength enough to break through and dig my self out of my own grave. I had only a day to meet my mother and talk my heart out to her but I forgot that my body had started to decompose already. 

It was very late in the night, I walked towards my house. I could slowly sneak into my room, headed for a bath, cleaned off all the mud from my body. When I put the lights on and saw myself in the mirror I was terrified, I did not look human, my skin was pale. I was not sure if my body had any blood flowing through my veins or any of my organs were working but I had all the strength I needed. I put on some make up from my kit to make my skin tone look normal. In the middle of the night as I was taking care of myself, I hear someone walking through the corridor, heading towards my room. I hid myself but I could not put the lights off. It was my mother, she walked in to my room.

Selena's mother (a little scared and careful in entering the room), "who is it?"

I did not respond for I din't know how she would respond but then I just had a day, time was very less, I had to communicate with my family and tell them everything. She put off the lights and was about the shut the door when I called out to her.

Selena, "mother, it is me, Selena."

Selena's mother (happy and excited), "Selena, is that really you."    

Selena, "mother just stand there, I will come out. Please don't call anyone else yet, I just want to speak to you."

Selena's mother, "come out darling, please come out and show yourself to me."

Gathering my courage I walked out to meet my mother, she couldn't believe her eyes, but I was standing right there in front of her. She was shivering and crying, I held her hand and pulled her towards me, I hugged her and kissed her and consoled her.

Selena, "please stop crying mother, I here, right her with you."

Selena's mother, "why did you leave us sweetheart."

Selena, "I made a mistake mother, but I am here now, you don't have to shed any more tears for me. I need to tell you everything that I have been through."

Until morning I told my mother everything, it took time for her to accept but there was no denying to the  fact I was back from the dead.
