Decomposing Feelings

Chapter 16

With morning my mother broke the news to my father and my brother but they did not believe her. They thought I was someone else pretending to be Selena, the only way to convince them was to take them to my open grave. They were shocked, terrified, the news quickly spread across within the town and people started to come home to see me.

I told my mother to shut all doors and windows as I did not had much time, there was a lot of commotion outside, for I was an abomination to them and people had gathered outside to see if I was back from the dead to destroy me. My family was afraid and we all were close to each other hiding in the inner most room. With in next 10 minutes the noise and commotion outside had stopped, there was absolute dead silence. It was unbelievable but that is exactly what we were witnessing, my father asked us all to remain where we were and went out to see what had happened. The moment he stepped out of the room there was a knock on the door, further added to our worries but I took the lead and asked all of them to stay back and headed straight to the door to find out what was going on. When I opened the door, everyone outside was dead, so many dead bodies everywhere. I asked my family to stay inside and walked outside to see if someone was alive but no they were all dead. I turned to get back into the house, and stood before me was my nemesis or my friend from the other world.

Prince, "you should walk with me into our world now, for your family will never be safe if you are around them."

Selena, "did you kill all these people."

Prince, "I had to, or else they would had killed your family."

Selena (angry), "you monster, what did you do? So many lives you have ended."

Prince (sternly), "enough. We walk from here right now."

I ran away from him, I was feeling responsible for the death of all those people. I kept running until I could and as I did I knew he would over power me and stop me and then take me to his world to be his slave yet again but that did not happen. I waited to see if he was standing behind me but no, I could no longer see him, so I hid myself into the woods but waiting again for him to end playing his tricks and take me back into his world. It was night now and nothing had happened, I went back towards my house. I could not find my family in there, started to look out for them everywhere but no, they were not to be found.
