A female voice, "Selena, Selena, open the door, it is not raining any more, please just open the door. I will not force you to come out, I promise you that. Hey" (persistent knocking on the door continues) there is no reply. "Ok I am leaving, call me when you are fine, I am worried for you."

Selena (angry tone), "I am fine, just leave me alone."

This is a recording from case file, Selena Jackson.

But this is not where all of this began, 3 months back I received a call from a friend living in Maysville. She wanted me to pick up a case of a patient named Selena Jackson, all that my friend Mary told me was that, it would help my research on the afterlife, ok let me introduce myself, I am Dr Colin and I am doing a research on the subject of afterlife for my book 'life after life' I have been successful in treating cases of mental disorder which sometimes challenge the scientific grounds and the only reason I have been successful as a psychiatrist is because I never relied my study a 100% on science alone, a little unusual but has worked well for me.

When I reached Maysville, I spoke to some people of the town, to get their testimony about Selena.

Mrs Langer, "I don't remember when it began but she has always been a strange person, right from the day she moved into that apartment, I have never seen her talking much with the neighbours. Never seen her going out for work or as a matter of fact even go out for groceries. She definitely is a disturbed person, feels sad for such a beautiful young girl to be living all alone. It has been three months now and I cannot keep this to myself, sometimes it scares me."

Ivy, "yeah she speaks to me, calls me when feels lonely or depressed. In fact I am the closest to her and I don't believe in any of those rumours. She is a kind soul, only different, not like any of us but this does not make her any different."

Martin O'Conner, "I liked her before, in fact the day she moved in here. Tried talking to her and I wasn't pressing at all was only trying to make a conversation, I don't know what she felt about it. Now I don't like her, she is a freak, unfortunately a pretty one."

Rev Millen, "I know what they say about her, I look at her as a person who has a past, rather a shattering one that has made her shut to this world. Well I tried to talk to her couple of time, offered help in counselling but she has refused. I pray for her, may she find comfort and peace. About the people in this town, I will say they are very modest, for them to comprehend a personality like Selena will never be easy. I am glad that you are here to make an effort to help her. Here I have written my number for you call me if you need help. Take care and may God bless you son."
