Decomposing Feelings

Chapter 25

Ivy, "where she belongs? You are the one who trapped her there; you dragged her to that hell where you rule."

Rahuk, "Selena choose, she walked into my world, she always has been. I never wanted to trap her in my world but her love that she said she had for me in her heart would not allow her to live away from me. I was helpless and weak to not agree. I am not convincing you to consider me to be righteous but help me mend the wrong that I have done which can help us save many lives. Return back to the mortal world Ivy and convince her to remove that bracelet so that I can take her along with me to my world. For if she stays in the mortal world as she has been staying, she would be the source of all the dark powers to walk in the mortal world, dark forces with which her grandfather has an alliance. For she is the portal and through her they have always been walking in the world of the mortals, bringing about their evil ways.

Ivy, "I don't know if I want to believe you but send me back to Ivy and Jerry."

Rahuk, "I will, I hope you find the truth, for when you do, I beg you to get that bracelet off her hand."

Ivy was sent back to the mortal world.

He left at the very same place from where he had also taken her, she looked around for Selena and Dr. Collins but they were nowhere to be found. She kept calling out to them and headed towards the house thinking they were waiting for her in the house. She knocked on the door and in a moment Selena opened it. She was delighted to see Ivy and she hugged her, "where were you? I am so glad you made it safe."

Ivy, "where is Jerry? I need to talk to the both of you about something very important."

Ivy got into the house but Dr. Collins was not there.

Ivy, "where is he?"

Selena, "he did not listen to me Ivy, he wanted me to take him to the other world to find you, he wanted me to risk it all. He left me no choice, I had to put him to rest."

Ivy (she was shocked), "what did you do?"

Selena, "just what I am about to do with you."

Selena had a knife hidden behind her back, she removed the knife and attached Ivy but Ivy managed to move and ran out of the house. She kept running calling out for help.

The forest was very deep and dark, she was scared, she saw a huge tree, and the trunk of the tree had a huge hollow. She hid herself in there, crying and thinking over every word that Rahuk had spoken, all of it turned out to be true. All this time that she believed in Selena and cared for her like her very own sister had now turned against her. There was nothing that she knew in her power that could stop Selena, weeping and feeling hopeless she did not notice that a poisonous snake had taken shelter in that very same tree and the snake bit Ivy. The poison was very lethal and within seconds it stopped her heart. Her body turned cold as she fell down, when she opened her eyes next she did not wake up in the world of the living but she woke up in his world.

Rahuk, "once again we meet."
