Decomposing Feelings

Chapter 10

Selena, "I woke up in a very dark and cold place, everything around seemed very dull & lost. I was not able to see anyone around, I got up and started to look out for people around. My head was hurting and I was feeling very weird because it felt as if everything was only happening in my head but at the same time it all also felt very real. A little away, I could see someone, I called out 'please hold on, I need some help.' but there was no response, so I quickly ran towards that person. He stood with his back towards me, so I touched his shoulder, 'hello sir, I need your help.' When he turned towards me I was shocked to see him. It was my grandfather, I broke into tears looking at him and hugged him, I loved him a lot, I had lost him when I was only a child. He had immense love in his heart for me, I asked him what was he doing there and what was he looking at."

Selena's Grandfather (with a smile on his face), "I was looking at you my dear child."

Selena, "me? but I am right here grandpa, right here before you."

Selena's Grandfather, "but you are also there. Come here, stand by my side and look straight ahead. Don't you see your self?"

I was terrified for I saw myself lying down on the ground next to that trap from which I had freed the animal. "How is this even possible?"

Selena's Grandfather, "It very much is possible my dear child, because your sprite is just like mine. Right now it has ventured out here into the place where we await the judgement of the mighty one. This is not the place for you my child. I will tell you more about it but right now you need to go from here. Go take your place in your body."

Selena, "but grandfather how can I do it, I don't understand anything (worried)."

Selena's Grandfather (his expression changed), "Selena, you need to go right now, he has heard your voice, go just run towards your body. He pushed you in this realm, I will not let him have you my child, run away, I will stand right here."

"I started running towards my body, I was scared as everything around had further turned darker and the sound of someone chasing me was reaching deep into my soul. The sound of a thousand crawling serpents, along with it what I also heard was my grandfather's voice telling me not to turn around and keep running towards my body. I ran, his voice was giving me a lot of' comfort and strength, I ran and when I was very close to my body, I fell again."
