Chapter 12 : Flashback part 4 (The Ball + Confession)

I waited for Elle in front of her house. We're going by car this time, with my driver. Then, she walked out from her house with the custom design dress. She was indeed beautiful. I fetch her hand and lead her into the car.

As we enter the school compound, there're a lot of photographers waiting for guest to take the picture for the Ball Year Book. And not to mention the Red carpet. I thought whose idea it was. Maybe the broadcasting students. As we walked out from the car which I'm the one who lead her, a lots of wows and woos we heard. I meant in, she's beautiful. We walked hand in hand that made the crowd go wild. Then I spotted Irene linking her hand with Danny.

" Wait what? Danny? How? He's a f***king player. He's worst 100 times than Shawn. I need to keep my eyes on them. He might do something to her." I said that in my head.

Then, we stopped at the drinks corner and then started to dance a bit. Elle lead me to the dance floor. I held her waist because she moved my hands towards that area. She then placed her hands on my shoulder. We smiled and nothing happens after that. I didn't felt like when I'm with Irene. I'm not captivated by Elle, not even a bit. Later, I saw Danny lead Irene out off the hall. I had to excuse myself and Elle let me go and I even told her if she want to dance with other boys, I'm fine with it. She casually left me with smile.

That's it, good, we didn't fell for each other. We're both a free agent.

I followed them to the hallway. And I saw something that I wished I didn't watched. Danny forcefully pressed him lips on Irene's precious lips. "Oh no! Shit! That lips supposed to be mine!" I said in my mind. As I walked closer, and he was about to slip in his dirty hand on Irene, I dashed towards them and gave my best punch to him.

" You son of b**ch! What the f**k are you doing?!" then another powerful punch flew towards him, again from me.

I continuously punch him until " Jaein, stop. You're killing him. I'm fine." She pleaded.

" What the hell are you saying? You're fine?! He was about to ............" I suddenly felt a punch on my tummy. It was from Danny of course.

" Who do you think you are? HUH?! Who are you? She's my date today. So I can do anything with her." He smirked while wiping the blood smeared on his lips.

" I'm her boyfriend you son of b**ch!" I said in higher voice and landed another punch to him. I quickly grabbed Irene's hand and walked out of the school. Then I stopped at the garden as I suddenly felt the pain all over my body. He hit me hard by the way.

" I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." She kept saying those words that made me melt even more that I forget the pain. Then I founded that this was the suitable time for me to gather my courage for real, for real to ask her out.

" It's okay. Ummm.. about that thing earlier, I really mean it. I mean it Irene. I love you, since the first time you walked into our class. Every time I see you, I've always felt butterflies in my stomach. I never felt that before. And I really mean it. And I want to date you. I love you with all of my heart and soul. I love your smile and the way you make me smile. I miss you, when you're not near. You make me want to be a better man. Without you, I am incomplete. Maybe you will say no to me but at least I let you know if I love you. I don't care if you want to make distance with me later if you feel uncomfortable being around me, but those things never lessen my love towards you. I Love You." I confessed to her.

I walked away as she didn't say anything but the she walked along with me and slide her hand and she leaned closer to me. " Maybe I'll make distance myself from you, but distance is not the issue, because in the end I have you. You have no idea how fast my heart races when I met your eyes. And I will never forget the moment I realized I loved you. You never fail to amaze me. Everyday there is something new that makes me love you even more than the day before. And I fell in love with you because of the million things you never knew you were doing. I Love You, Sung Jaein." She deeply confessed her love to me. I swear to God, I Love this girl.
