-Chapter 2-

It slowly crept towards me, looking cautious. Then I realized that it was a teenage boy, and he stopped and waved at me, seeing as though I was staring at him.

I waved back slowly, wary of why he was so far out here.

He approached my car, knocking on the window as a sign that I should roll it down. I did so, but only rolled it down an inch or two.

"Hi! My name is Harold, and I just moved into the old house a ways down your street. I thought that I would come and say hello, because we are probably going to go to the same school together." He said sweetly, a huge grin on his face as he talked.

I rolled my window all the way down now, thinking that this boy was potentially harmless.

"Um yeah. Nice to meet you... Harold-"

"Most people just call me Harry, or Hazza." He interrupted.

"Okay, Harry. Nice to meet you. I'm Hale, like the frozen balls of water that fall from the sky when it's stormy." I said stupidly, mentally face palming.

This kid was cute. Like really cute.

He had bright shining green eyes, with dark brown curly hair that swooped just over his eyes. He had high cheek bones, fair complexion, and chiseled features, and when he smiled- which he has been since I have seen him- he has deep dimples on both sides of his cheeks.

Which was why I was saying stupid random things.

"Haha, that's a good way to put it." He said, chuckling.

"Yeah... Well I better get going. And you should too. See you at school!" I said, ready to drove off. But he put his hands on the pane of my open window, gripping it tightly.

"I uh... Actually was wondering of I could... Have a ride? I don't have a car right now... It's getting repaired." He asked and explained quietly.

"Um... Yeah sure. Why not?" I said a little uneasily. I just met this kid... But what could happen right?

"Great!" He said with a smile as he climbed in the passenger side. (After I unlocked it of course.)

He jumped in and looked almost in pain.

"Are you alright?" I asked cautiously.

"Um yeah... I just... Smelled something funny." He said.

Well thanks. My car smells funny. That's amazing. And it's making this poor boy look like he's gunna vommit.

"Oh... Sorry. It's an old car." I tried to explain, but he didn't seem interested. He just had his hand over his mouth as he took slow breaths in through his mouth.

The ride there was fairly quiet. Considering I don't live too far away. There was small talk, but other than that it was quiet.

When we arrived, the 5 minute 'get to class bell' had rung. So me and Harry hurried inside, and parted ways.

What a strange kid, I thought. But my first class was Math, so I better hurry up to class.

At lunch, I found my "group" and ate outside by the large oak tree. I had kept my eye out for Harry, but didnt see him.

"So, who is that totally hot guy that rode with you this morning?" My best friend Kylie asked me.

"Who? Harry? He needed a ride, he's new here. He moved in down the street from me. Why?"

"Oh I have no clue. Maybe because he is absolutely gorgeous!" She squealed.

"I honestly don't think he looks that great." Joey said coolly, like he didn't really care.
