-Chapter 5-
*Harry's POV*
Crap. I can't do this.
I can't be around her. It's so damn hard. She is just too innocent for someone like me.
I left her there after I almost lost control. All alone. I should go back.
But then I would have to tell her what happened... Make more stupid excuses.
That's all I've done since this stupid curse. Make people believe Lies to cover up who I really am.
I'm tired of lying to everyone. Especially her. She makes me feel different. Like I used to.
I'm going to tell her. I have to, I can't keep lying to myself and all the other people around me.
I was walking down the road, to my black and silver Audi R8, but I turned and sprinted back the way I came.
Rounding the corner, I could hear laughing and yelling.
"Hey babe, why are you here all alone, huh? Did Harry leave you to us?" Why was this person talking about me? Who was he talking to?
I heard a rumble of different chuckles and realized that it was that bastard Jordan and his gang.
I heard silence and a hard thump, like something had hit the ground.
Then I smelled it. That's coppery smell, like thousands of pennies.
"You answer me when I'm talking to you, understand!?" Jordan suddenly yelled.
After all I heard was a small mumble, but I couldn't make out the voice. I couldn't put my finger on it.
I was just around the corner, and I pressed my back to the bricks, listening in on what was happening.
"Stop... Please stop..." I heard her whimper. I knew the voice now. It was Hale.
I was enraged, and the overpowering, sweet smell of blood was surrounding everything, blocking my thoughts.
I had to fight for concentration. To not loose control.
I rounded the corner, my white t-shirt flapping in the wind. My hair flew all over the place, and I could feel my eyes growing darker.
I stepped out just in time to see her standing upright. Jordan had her trapped against the drivers side of her car.
The blood from her head wound ran down the window and dripped to the ground.
"I will not stop sweetheart... Forever and always." He sneered.
I could hear the smirk in his voice. I was going to knock him sky high.
He then kicked her in the back if the knees, making her fall. Then he threw her to the ground, head hitting first.
By this time I was speed walking, almost running over to her.
She was lying on the ground, blood gushing from her head, and her thigh from earlier.
She was struggling to roll over, and when she saw me, she reached out a hand.
She was shaking pretty badly, and her frail hand wavered in front of her until she collapsed, unmoving on the ground.
Rolling on her back, she peered up at me with those ice blue eyes. Her brown hair was spread around her head, matted with blood.
"Harry...?" She asked quizzically. I ran over to her, and slid my arms under her, picking her up gently.
