Chapter 18

Celeste p.o.v

"America!!" I scream

I run towards her.

"My... ba..by" she says weekly.

"It's going to be fine don't worry" I say

I see kriss running away.

"Get her!!!" I scream to the guards, they run and shoot her in her arm. She falls to the floor.

I  turn to america but she bleeding and her eyes are closed. A doctor comes running to america and maxon he checks them.

"Maxon needs surgery, we need to get america to the hospital wing".  I nod

America's P.O.V

"Beep, beep,beep" I hear a machine, i look around and i see I'm in a hospital wing . Celeste is sleeping on a chair next to the door.
I try  to get up  but I feel pain in my stomach. My baby!

"Oh i see your awake queen america" says the doctor walking in.

"How's my baby doctor" i ask scared.

"S/He's okay nothing happened,  maxon is in coma in sorry I don't know if he will wake up " I fell tears run down my face, he leaves and celeste wakes up. Why? why is this happening to us.

"Your awake!" Celeste says.

"Were is kriss ?" I say clearing my tears.

"She's in the hospital wing to, the guards caught her before she could escape" she informs me.

I start to cry maxon might die.

"i want to see maxon  please let me see him" I say sobbing.

"im sorry but yoy have to stay in bed, it can affect the baby " she says.

"but I have to I love him, he might die" I start to take the wires off my arms.

"stop!" celeste says

"no I have to!"i says stubbornly

"fine but im going to get you a wheel chair" she says, after a few minutes she comes back with a wheel chair.

"thanks" I smile, she smiles back and pushes me to maxon's room.

" I will leave you alone, I will come back after im done talking to kriss" celeste says.

"make sure she pays for what she's done" I tell her, she nods and walk away.

I open the door  waiting for the worst, I feel tears falling down my cheeks. I look up and see maxon is not there.

" DOCTOR!!" I scream.

" Yes queen America, oh my god where's the king" he asks after realizing maxon is not here.

" that's why I called you, get the guards immediately, get celeste !!"

" yes your majesty " he runs away.

CELESTE P.O.V

I walk to the room where Kriss is locked in. Two guards are standing right by the door. As I walk towards them they unlock the door and let me in. I see Kriss laying on the bed. she has a bandage near her shoulder, and her dress is covered in blood.

" what do you want?" she says.

" I want to know why did you do this? America and Maxon don't deserve this. why?" I say

"Why?!" she says laughing.

" your asking why? I will tell you why! she took everything from me! she took my crown away from me! she can have babies and I can't, and especially she stoled Maxon's heart away, I knew I could change it. he loves her he only choose me because of jealousy, and pain he couldn't have her because he saw America with the guard. she can have a happily after if I didn't do all of this. but I cant have one so I decided to ruin hers! that's  Why!!" kriss says crying .

  " But that doesn't mean that its America's fault, maxon felt in love with her, you knew you couldn't change that you just told me, you tried hard but  it didn't work because his heart belonged to her since the day they met, that's why after celeste took you the only thing he could do to keep this kingdom well was to marry his true love. im sorry but its only the truth" I say.

" you  know what? I want to change I want to have a happily after, it doesn't matter if its not with maxon. I just want to be happy" she cries.

"im soo soo sorry, please forgive me" she cries. We get interrupted by a guard bursting through the door.

"Im sorry lady Celeste but king maxon disappeared, queen america needs to see you" he say.kriss gasps

"She did it"kriss says.

"Who did what?" I ask.

"Daphne she kidnapped maxon, i heared her say it to Christopher a day before we escaped" she says.

"I need to get america now!" I say the guard nods and goes and inform  the other guards to come up with a plan. I hope we can find him, knowing daphne she will hurt him.
