I was cheated Ch.22

I looked over at Olivia, who just layed on Cole's bed listlessly. She was laying there, so still. Her head resting on the pillow gazing out the dark window. Her breaths came in light heaves, as soft tears strolled down her cheek onto her nose and onto the pillow.

I sat on the bed next to her and put my hand on hers. She pulled it away not even looking at me, she still gazed out the window and into the woods. was she waiting for Cole to come back?

"Livy...honey." I don't know what to say. I cant say he'll come back, but what if he doesn't? What if i say she'll be all right, but what if she won't be?

"Do you want anything?' I ask leaning down a bit to see her face more clearly. Her lips were drawn in a strait line. Her eyes gleaming in the light. But she just kept looking out the window. "Honey?" I say again. She didn't move a muscle, "I want Cole." She says simply.

I close my eyes, he's not going too. The voice inside my head said. No, he would come back. If he loves her as much as she loves him- he will come back. That's the only thing I have left to hold onto... for her.

"Livy, I'm afraid i can't make that happen." I say shifting my eyes around the room in guilt. The guilt was coming from that something I couldn't do for her.

"I'll be downstairs if you need anything, Lexie will be out in the hall also. Okay?" I ask putting my hand on her shoulder reassuringly. She doesn't answer me, so I sigh, get up and walk out of the room.

I shut the door softly behind me and go down stairs, and pass Lexie who is on her way up them.

I walk into the kitchen and walk blindly past all the guys who had nothing to say. "How is she?" Zane says seeing I came in. I shake my head, "I don't know- kind of like her boyfriend she loves, just you know..." I raise my voice "and he left her!"

Zane held his hands out, "Okay yes that was a stupid question." He says apologising.

"He left!" I yell, still not able to calm down. "He left my best friend, she loves him- hell go up there and look at her. She's not moving, she may as well be dead!" I say, that's how her life was now that he was gone.

Ya I know my friend, I know my best friend. The past few days when i've seen them together, her face just lite up. She loves him....she loves him more than that douche bag Ben. But unlike Ben the bitch, he would be good to her and not hurt her.

She was on the right path, but now there's just a pile of rocks she has to get over. I'm going to be the one to help her gets through the rocks.

Mac did this. Shit, he did this to her! He made Cole go away, he was the one who broke her heart and drove her love away.

I started towards the hallway where Mac's room was. "Whoa, whoa!" Bolton yelled coming after me and putting his arms around my waist. "Put me down! He did this!" I yell as he put his arm under my legs and carried me like a baby. I pounded at his chest and screamed at him.

He carryied me past the kitchen without saying a word to the guys who just stared at us. He nodded to them as I still screamed, and kicked my feet in the air trying to go kill Mac.

"Put me down Bolton, your not protecting me or any one else this time. Put me the fuck down!"I order him but he just shook his head and opened the door.

The cold air bite at my skin on my tank top, It was a lot more cold than an hour ago. Bolton had his arms securely wrapped around me. Really, why did he have to be this 'superman' always saving and protecting the innocent. Not that Mac was innocent.
