In a lifetime

Here it is the last chapter of decisions I hope you enjoy : )

                                                            /The last day of their 6th year/

          Dean and I were partners in potions, in the last three months Draco got together with Harry. Dean broke up with Ginny and we were slowly starting to be friends again. I still love him I wonder if he still loves me. 

          The war is getting worse, my mum doesn't want me to go back next year, but I have to. There was a reason I was sorted into Gryffindor, to help, Voldemort's getting stronger. The 7th year will be the hardest Harry's leaving and no doubt Voldemort's going to attack that's why I have to stay. To protect Dean. Even though we're broken up I will protect him until the day I die.

          Apparently I was thinking too much and Dean tapped my shoulder, "Shay..." He whispered, god it was like the start of the year all over again us being friends, except I know he's gay and he's available, but I'm still have the same two thoughts constantly running through my head, 'Does he love me back?' And 'I need to protect him.'  "Yeah?" I asked and Dean sighs, "I'm sorry....about Ginny, about cheating on you, every day I feel like an idiot for not leaving the party with you Shay I'm so sorry." He said and I felt socked, This is the first time he apologized for everything. That's when I leaned in and kissed him.

         Dean was shocked but he kissed me back gently and we heard Slughorn clear his throat, we pull back both of us blushing. Then we both started to chuckle softly, just like we did when Madam Pomfrey caught us snogging. Then the chuckling softly turned into rather loud chuckles then to soft laughs and then to hysterical laughing. Dean fell off his stool and I erupted into even more laughter, being with Dean just made you have that endless happiness effect.

          Is it possible to be totally and completely in love with someone that is so perfect.

Yes I thought to myself yes it is.

I caught Draco giving me a small wink of congrats from across the room. I nodded and mouthed, 'thanks, couldn't have done it without you' in reply. He gave me a nod in reply and mindlessly Dean took my hand holding it as he stirred the Felix Felicious, "What does this mean?" I asked and he shrugged, "We are Deamus again." He said and I raised in eyebrow in question, "What's Deamus?" I asked whispering, "IT's like your name and my name combined you know for people who are dating, like Ron and Hermione would be Romione and Harry and Draco are Drarry, that sort of thing." He told his loving boyfriend. "Oh.." SHay said with a smile and squeezed Dean hand.

seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, hours turned into , well tonight. 

Everyone was leaving to their dorms then we heard the screams of McGongall, then i saw death eaters parading through the halls, I could tell Dean was looking for me then I heard Harry yell out Draco' name through strained tears. Then in a rush everyone ran  into the courtyard and I followed I saw Dean with his wand up so I stood next to him looking at Dumbledores body, I put my wand and before I could raise it up Bellatrix apparated and grabbed me and disapperated. As I was floating in that little time and space bubble maybe that was the last time i'd ever think. 

I fell in love with my best friend

sometime i regret it,

sometimes i love it,

but right now, 

I truly believe,

this is the best decision 

I've made in a lifetime...

A/N

THIS WAS IT GUY THE LAST CHAPTER SO THE SEQUEL IS GOING TO BE A BIT DIFFERENT !!! IT'S GOING TO BE FROM DEANS POINT OF VIEW AND THE LAST WORD OF THE LAST CHAPTER ISN'T GOING TO BE THE TITLE NAME ANYMORE !!!
