Chapter Nine- This is kidnapping you know (Hopeless)
Enjoy!
I woke up to the sound of a beeping clock. I quickly turned it off before my step father would wake up and started my morning routine. I took a shower put a long sleeve shirt and skinny jeans on. I decided not to wear my hoodie today since I had long sleeves on. I brushed my teeth and before I know it I'm already out the door and down the street to start my walk to school.
The morning air is blowing my hair away from my face and goose bumps start to form on my skin. The bruise on my face is still noticeable, but quickly fading. I decided not to put makeup on my face because it just makes my face all sticky and my skin even more pale than it already is. Eww.
I mindlessly scroll through my songs when a text pops up.
Dylan
Hey, baby girl
Does he really have to call me that? You have no idea how much I hate nicknames it's confusing for me.
To Dylan:
Don't call me that. What do you want?
Why is he texting me? I think I need to change my number or ignore his texts for now on.
Dylan
You, but that's a different story. Nice shirt btw you should loss the hoodie more often. ;)
I stop walking after reading that text. How did he know I wasn't wearing a hoodie today? I look around but see no one.
To Dylan:
How did you know I wasn't wearing a hoodie?
Dylan
Look harder, baby girl
I turn around again and look everywhere but I don't see him anywhere.
Where is this prick?
I look to my left.
Nothing.
Right?
Nothing.
In front?
Nothing but road.
I look behind me and see something at the far end of the street.
My phone vibrates in my hand and I look to see it's another text.
Dylan
You're warm, kitten. Just look a little harder.
I look up from my phone and see something at the end of the street. I start walking toward it and I now I know for sure it's a car; black mustang to be exact. I slow down my pace and the sports car starts driving toward me.
Once the car is to the side of the sidewalk the window rolls down and sure enough Dylan has one hand on the wheel and the other on the gear shift. That almost sounded like a Taylor swift song.
"You look cute going in circles, baby girl." he says with his signature smirk. I roll my eyes.
"Are you stalking me now?" I retorted making sure to put annoyance in my tone.
"No, I just wanted to see if you wanted a ride to school?" He offers.
"No thanks I'm good." I turn on my heel and start walking to school again. My mind is going insane. Going to school with the Bad Boy is a no, no. I will not be the center of attention no thank you.
