Thanks for blowing up my phone with notifications, love <3 It really helps to keep me motivated to write when I see people enjoying the story:)xo

Just a warning that there are some heavy topics going to be discussed in this chapter. If you are of the faint of heart then you should brace yourself. (low-key shouldn't be reading this book at all if you are. just saying lol)

The picture at the top will make sense when you get to a point in the chapter. Then the picture should give you guys a good mental image.

Also the translation for whatever is said in Spanish is italicized in english.

Enjoy!

Dylan's P.O.V

I've been pacing in my room for the past three hours. I'm surprised my footsteps aren't imprinted into the white carpet floor.

Since the moment I've gotten home I've been texting and calling Snow, only to be met with silence. No texts back. And any calls go straight to voicemail. Not a word from Snow since yesterday evening.

I'm going out of my fucking mind.

More than once, I've been tempted to go back to her house to see if she was okay. But whether it's good or bad, Jake and Tony have talked me out of going.

So now here I am. Pacing back and forth while Tony lays on my bed with his phone and Jake sits on my desk chair. They both slept over my house which isn't a rare thing. My house is big enough that we have bedrooms for both of them and plus they're practically my brothers.

"Dylan, stop fucking pacing man." Tony sighs and sits up on my bed. I ignore him and glance at my phone again. The occasional texts from girls I don't know are there but I don't even pay attention to them now. All I want is to see Baby Girl flash on my screen, but like the last hundred times I've checked, there's nothing.

"Seriously, Dylan. I'm sure she's fine, bro." Jake gets up from his seat and claps his hand on my shoulder, stopping me from pacing. I take a deep breath.

"Yeah, sorry it's just. . . really unlike her to not answer me." Jake shurges.

"Don't stress about it. She's fine and will give you a call as soon as she can." having Jake calm my nerves, I take a seat on my bed and run my hands down my face. It suddenly occurs to me the nervous breakdown I've been having for the past three hours. All the pacing and checking my phone each second.

Oh god.

Embarrassment hits me hard and I can't even look at Tony or Jake, deciding that the floor was the most interesting thing in the world to me.

Knowing that Jake and Tony can sometimes read me like a book, I school my face into a neutral expression and swallow the lump in my throat. I take a look at Jake and see that I'm not fooling him. That was to be expected. He can always see right past anyone and their bullshit. Tony on the other hand takes my bluff in strive and starts going off about some chick that he's texting.

The change in conversation does not help in the slightest, but I know I can't say anything to him about Max. I respect my cousin's wishes no matter how stupid. If she goes down then I might as well go down with her.  And speaking of Max. . .

I never did get to speak with her. After we got home, she went straight to her room and I was too distracted with thoughts of Snow to realize she hadn't come out of her room once. Not only this but I was also going to make her favorite meal to cheer her up.
