I felt tears stream down my cheeks as I fast walked inside and sat on my couch.
I soon felt a hand rubbing my back. I looked up at Allen and saw him staring down at me sympetheticly. I reached over and clung to his shoulders. He hugged me back and just waited for me to calm down.
Allen's POV
I couldn't stand seeing her so sad. I knew that Cayden had cheated on some girlfriends in the past, but I didn't think he'd do that to his best friend.
I wasn't gonna kill him, though.
Joy or Jen would probably beat me to it.
Yes, It's Still Allen's POV
Knock. Knock. Knock.
I opened my eyes and rubbed my eyes. I looked over at Joy, who was sleeping with her head rested on my shoulder. She groaned and moved onto the other side of the couch, going right back to sleep.
Knock. Knock. Knock. Kno-
I sighed and got up. I opened the door and looked down at Jen.
"Don't worry about...Allen? What the hell? Where's..." She looked behind me at Joy sleeping on the couch. "What happened..." She asked suspiciously. She walked in and put her shoulder bag down on the floor. She turned to me with her hands on her hips.
"Nothing." I said, walking over to the kitchen and grabbing four granola bars. I devored the first two, and slowly ate the remaining. Jen had a disgusted look on her face as she watched me eat the granola bars.
"What?" I asked with my mouth full. "Your vegetarian mind can't register this is granola?"
"No, you're just grossing me out." She said with her arms crossed. "And that's mean to all vegetarians!"
I sighed and threw away the wrappers. I heard a groan coming from the living room and saw Joy get up and start walking to her room. Probably to get changed. I turned back to Jen.
"Look. You don't wanna be here." I said.
"Oh, and why is that? Because you wanna make a move on Joy?" She said cocking her hip.
"No." I glared at her. "Because some people are coming over that I know, and one of them hates humans."
She glared at me, confused.
"They're all like Joy and I. Part animal."
She nodded and picked up her shoulder bag. "Well, just tell Joy she doesn't have to worry about Cayden. I took care of him." And with that she walked out the front door.
Joy's POV
I slowly walked upstairs and into my room. I headed towards my closet and grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a black tank top. I put them on and walked downstairs.
Allen was sitting on my couch, watching Mythbusters.
"So what now?" I asked him. I must've suprised him, because he practicly launched himself a couple feet in the air.
"Da-uh. Right! Um, A few people are coming over. They are the 'people' I told you about that are gonna help with your wolf problem." He said sitting back down on the couch.
I nodded. "Good." I walked into my kitchen and opened my fridge, grabbing a can of Sunkist.
But when I closed the fridge door, a red headed girl was glaring down at me. I screamed of shock and almost dropped my soda.
She crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes more.
"What's wrong, Joy?!" Allen called running into the room. He looked at the girl and put his hands in his pockets.
"Nice to see you again, Cara." He said.
