After that little scene, I ran as fast as I could to the nearest open shop.

Which was a bar.

I hesitantly walked in, and immediately dodged a flying beer glass.

"You're so full of shit!!" A drunk man yelled to a sober-looking man, sitting at the counter.

The sober man sighed and turned back to his untouched wine.

I slowly walked over to the bartender.

"Hi, um, where am I?" I asked him.

"A bar." He said matter-of-factually. "Are you already drunk?"

I shot him a look that screamed Are you stupid?!.

The bartender ignored me and went back to serving alcohol to people.

I turned to the sober-looking man, staring intently at his wine glass.

"What town am I in?" I asked him.

"Redmond." He said, not looking up at me.

"Shit." I whispered. I live in Sisters. I was whole other town over. I reached in my back pocket, but found no money.

"Excuse me, sir," I said tapping the sober man's shoulder. "Could I borrow some money? I need to get home and... It's not like you're gonna spend your money on a refill."

He looked over at me and raised his eye brows. He was maybe two years older then me, so eighteen. Although I had a boyfriend, I had to admit he was hot. He had light brown, tousled hair and dark brown eyes.

He turned his chair so he was facing me completely. "Uh, yeah. Sure." He took out his wallet and handed me a fifty.

"I'm just getting a taxi to Sisters. I don't need this much." I said.

He shrugged and put the money in my hand. He grinned slightly at me and turned back to his wine.

I was surprised when he took a small sip.

I walked out of the bar and looked around for a taxi.

Luckily, one pulled up and let a couple out. I got into the taxi and asked the driver to take me to Sisters.

•••••••••••••••••••••

The taxi dropped me off at my house. I ran in and collapsed on my couch.

I swore to myself and got up. I looked at my cellphone and saw that Cayden had messaged me multiple times asking why I wouldn't answer and where I was. I noticed one message from Allen.

It said:

Joy, found out wat kinda cat u r call me wen u get dis txt

I sighed and called Allen's cellphone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Allen, it's Joy."

"Hey! I found out what cat you are! You're a Ashera. It's a rare cat mix...Very similar to the Savannah cat. You are really expensive too."

"That explains a LOT!" I yell.

"What d'you mean?"

I told him how I was practicing and two men kidnapped me and took me to Redmond. Then how I was almost raped in an alley.

He didn't say anything at first.

"Are you okay?" He finally asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Good."

After a couple of seconds, I decided it was just too awkward.

"I-I'm really tired..."

"Right. Okay. Bye."

"Kay, bye."

"Wait, Joy!"

"Yeah?"

"...Don't ever practice on the streets again."

I grinned, and muttered bye.
