Chapter 14

Asher's POV

      Good goddess, what is she doing to me? Every single time I feel like I am in control with my emotions, they go out of wack when she is near and with me. That girl has absolutely no idea about what she is doing to me.
       When I entered the kitchen I saw my mom on her phone, sitting at the island.
       "So, did you explain everything to her?"
       "Pft, of course I did. I explained the fact that she has been living with werewolf friends and how she is in a place of over 500  werewolves. Oh and I didn't forget to tell her that she is my mate. Someone who completes me and makes me stronger but yet possessive at the same time."
        "Okay, enough with the sarcasm, let's get serious now. You have got to tell her. The longer you wait the more she will be scared. "
        I huffed out a breath and ran my hand through my hair.
        "Do you honestly think I don't know that? Do you also think I want her involved with all the dangers that having an Alpha to be werewolf as a mate, a werewolf in general. All I want is for her to be safe. "
         She stood up from the stool she was sitting at and walked toward me. She put her hands on my arms. She was about the same height as me and had the same icy blue eyes as I.
"Asher, honey you have to tell her. I know the fact that being an Alpha,et alone being an Alpha's mate is dangerous, but you have to tell her. She deserves to know everything. Did you ever think that if you tell her now that she would forgive you?"
I stared into my mother's eyes trying to figure out if I should tell her.
" I feel like by telling her, I am putting her on her death bed and the last thing I want is for the love of my life to be killed because of my foolishness. I know that I should tell her about the world I am apart of, that the fact that she is the my mate, the Luna of one of the biggest and strongest packs in the world, that I would die to make sure that she is okay, and that she isn't human herself, but I just can't do it. I can't have the chance of breaking her heart again. Back then I was young and foolish, now I know what I did was completely out of line so now that I have a chance to prove myself to her I'm not going to screw it up."
My mom moved her arms down to her side. "Asher, you have to yell her. Once that girl turns 19, she will figure it out, and it wont be pretty."
I raised my eyebrow at her, "What do you mean?"
"Remember when I told about her having to have to move to the human world and live like a human because if something inside if her?"
I nodded my head as she continued.
"Well on her 19th birthday her power will be unleashed. That girl can literally kill people just by looking at them. Once she turns into an adult all of her stored power will want to explode out of her. She will be so out of control that even the simplest of touches can set her off. This can be prevented if and only if you tell her everything. She will know about werewolves and other creatures and the dangers that live inside of her, that way we all can be prepared, that way she won't be scared. "
I couldn't stop starting into empty space. What is going on inside my Asy? What could be so powerful and how could she be holding it?
"And you are sure of this?"
She nodded her head.
"Well, looks like Aislyn is going to have an awesome morning story."
My mom and I sat and watched some random shows on tv when all of a sudden I hear a scream coming from upstairs
