Last night I stayed up later than I usually do. I couldn't help but wonder how in the Davy Jones locker did Asher know that I was adopted before I knew? I was thinking about texting him to see if he could tell me anything but I decided not to for the sake of me actually wanting to get some sleep.

As I walked down my stares and to my kitchen to notice a school supplies list sitting on the calendar. I looked at ghe date, August 2nd, 2016. School starts next week, you have got to be kidding me. I was about to try and hide the paper when all of a sudden I was getting a phone call. I hurried over to my phone, which I placed on the other side of the counter, hoping that Dom would be on the other side. I didn't even bother checking the ID of the call when I answered, "Hello..."
"Wow, you actually picked up. That is a shocker seeing as how you were saying that you want nothing to do with me yesterday."
Great.....just my luck.
"What do you want Asher?"
"Did you ask your parents? "
I was debating on whether or not to tell him. Just as I was gonna tell him an excuse and that I didn't he started speaking again, " The silence just proves that you did. More than likely you were trying to come up with an excuse as to why I'm wrong but obviously that plan failed."
" Um so it didn't. How do you know they said yes?"
"Really? You are going to play that game with me? Asy I know for a fact that your parents said yes. I was trying to explain to you that I know than you can even begin to understand. I am here to protect you because there are some very bad cre_ I mean people that want to hurt you and your family. Very bad people."
" Whatever Ash. I am sick of this whole you protecting me thing. I can take care of myself. Obviously because I took care of myself when you decided to be very idiotic and cheat on me. Especially since it was on my enemy. "
I could hear him sigh on his end of the conversation, "Aislyn I am sorry okay? I was stupid, I thought I could try to get you out of my head but I couldn't. I am not having this conversation over the phone. If you want to finish this conversation meet me at the Coffee shop in thirty minutes."
I didnt have a chance to reply because he hung up before I got the chance.
Okay this day just got way more interesting.
