the night

Isabella POV

I get up and make some breakfast which Is a granola bar and an apple with a water. I decide to let Carl sleep. I sneak out of the house to go hunting for dinner. I creep through the woods. I see a squrriel I shoot and hit it. I put it in my bag and try to get another. I walk for about 10 minutes and I see a big bush of blackberry. I walk up and grab as many as I can put in my bandana. I make my way back to camp to see Carl up and holding Judith. "Hey, how long have you been up?" I asked "not long" he responded.
He told me about his group at the prison and all. They sounded quite nice. We also decided tomorrow we would try to find them.

We decided to go on a run and try to get some stuff for Judith because she only has 3 more diapers and one bottle. We Started off by going to a small gas station near my base. We walked in. We found a bottle of pain killers, two water bottles, a lighter and some toilet paper. We decided that would be enough from there so we went to a grocery store. We found 6 can goods, a whole package of waters, And a package of diapers. We went to the gardening section where we found a axe and some rope. We then made our way to the next door academy, where found a few whistles, batteries, a flashlight, matches, a knife sharpener, a tent, and a bunch of other stuff including a shotgun with a butt load of ammo. We decided to head back.
When we got to the base I decided to go swimming. I splashed around for a while until Carl and Judith joined me. We played tricks, marco polo, and so much more. We then cooked lunch which was an apple and grapes. Carl went hunting while I cleaned quietly because Judith was sleeping. He came back with a rabbit, a squirrel and a few more berries. We talked it over and we decided that we would use some berries, corn, and Apple and carrots to try to get some deer bear our hide out.
