Courtney's POV

I was starting to feel frustrated with the new group. We were in a pattern that never ended. I decided to take a weekend by myself to go hunting. I figured we could use the food considering winter would be here in a few weeks and i wanted some space. Rick went on a run with Carl into town for a weekend. Maggie and Glenn are watching Judith, and Daryl is going hunting. Michonne is gonna set traps around the base and Hershel is gonna work on the garden. We all decided to take a weekend to focus on somethin specific to get us away from each other for a break. I had my weapons, 2 cans of food, and a few things from the garden. Ik started up the creek with my weapon up. I walked that way for miles. I finally saw something. but it wasnt an animal. It was a camp. I wasn't going to show myself but they saw me. They forced me to sit by the fire. There was 3 boys. One around 14, One around 17, and one aroun 15. I was 15 so i was excited to see someone my age alive. "Where ya from?" asked the 17 year old. " no where."

"well obviously some where. You gotta camp?" he asked. "Yea and i have a group too." They all looked at each other then nodded."Mind if we join?" Asked the 15 year old. I paused not knowing what the group would think. It would be more people to help but more people to feed.  had to make the decision on my own. It was my base after all. "Yea, pack everything you got, but fist let me see your food." the 14 year old brought out a duffel packed, over flowing with beans soup, and much more. "Whats yalls names?" I asked knowing they had them. "Th 14 year old here is Brian. The 15 year old is Jake and im daniel." Responded the 17 year old. " Im courtney. follow me." I led them to the base forgetting about going hunting because it was the smartest thing to do. 

Skip to sunday

I introduced everyone and got the guys settled in a small tent next to ricks house and by the main watering hole. We deided that Jake and Brian would help hershel and work in the garden. and occasionally hunt. Daniel was gonna help daryl and michonne. They had an extra tent which went straight to Daryl and Michonne to share. Now I had my own room again. Hershel moved into the extra room in the medical base. We all sat around the main fire and ate dinner. it was deer and some veggis. Iit was delicous. We all settled into our rooms and went to bed.
