Courtney's POV

I wake up to the sound of crunching. I spin around quickly and see Judith eating some nuts and berries. I laughed to myself and got up to change. I then start cleaning my bed area. While I cleaned I noticed something by the food we left out it was a deer. I quickly but quietly grabbed my bow and shot at the deer. I excitedly wake Carl. He goes to get the deer. We skin the deer carefully to make sure we don't ruin any meat or Skin so we can use it to make clothes for Judith.
We decided to start planning when we will eat what to make sure we ration ad much as we can. "I'm gonna go on a run and see if I can get anything from the market down the road. Maybe see if I can find a car." Carl said .
"Sounds good take what you need" I replied . He left. It was just me and Judith now. I Started pumping water to wash clothes and try to bathe Judith since she has barely bathed since we have been here. I started by boiling some water for her bath. She didn't give and argument which was good. She smelled like lavender when I was finished. I laid her for a nap while I washed clothes . I quickly hung them up. And started figuring out what we want for lunch knowing Carl would be hungry when he got back. I first checked up on Judith who was surprisingly Awake. I got her up and took her to the garden. I showed her how to pick cherries. We picked a whole tub of them. Then we picked cucumbers peppers onions tomatoes and potatoes and Carrot's.
We made some soup . While the soup boiled we played with 2 dolls we found in a rundown baby store. While we played dolls carl came back with people. He seemed to know them and they seemed to know judith maybe this was the group from the prison. They approached me. " Hello. I'm Rick the leader. I hear you took in carl and Judith we are very thankful. But we were wondering if you had room for us as well. " He asked " I'm Courtney and absolutely. I have a garden running water and tons of room for you all. " I replied. I wandered if I was making a mistake. But I didn't feel that way. "So who wants to shower first!?" I say in a humorous time. They all laugh and before I know it they are all showered and sitting around the fire. I poured soup into bowls and handed them each a bowl and a spoon. They were all shocked that I really had food. They all introduced themselves after they gobbled down their bowls. Their was Daryl michonne Glenn Maggie and hershel. And Rick. Maybe together we would all create a happy world again maybe just maybe.
