Her everything

Umi's POV:

Ive always liked times like this. Just Kotori and I. I've always sort of thought I had a crush on her since we were little but it was only a few weeks ago when I finally realized how in love I was with her. She's just so beautiful. Her eyes, her hair, her everything. She's perfect. I just don't know how to tell her that. All of a sudden I hear Kotori say,

"Umi-chan are you feeling well?" I didn't realize how quiet and unfocused I was.
"Y-yeah of course. Sorry I was just lost in thought is all"
"Ok then, that's good. You really had me worried." She responds with her bright smile. I smile back. We were on our way home after going out for ice cream when Kotori asks me a sudden question.

"Hey Umi-Chan"
"Hm? What is it?"
"Would you like to come stay at my house tonight? My parents are on vacation and it gets boring being all alone."
"Yeah sure just let me call my mom. Are you sure it's ok?"
"Yep" there's her bright smile again.
After a short call, my mom said yes.

"Umi-chan, do you wanna take a bath with me?"
Startled I reply, "W-what?"
" I'll wash your back" there's that smile again. I can never resist it.
"Well I guess so." I reply feeling a sense of defeat...but then again is it really a bad thing. I shouldn't be embarrassed much either. We did this when we were younger a lot so it should be fine...right? The only difference is a lot of the time we would always have Honoka with us.
"I'll go run the water. Hurry up and get undressed."
"O-ok"

After getting undressed and putting a towel over myself, also grabbing one for Kotori, I walked in to see her already relaxing in the bath. I caught myself blushing.
"Hurry up and get in. The water doesn't stay cold forever y'know!" She's always so cheerful, even when rushing me.
"Ok, ok." Hesitantly, I set my towel aside and get in with Kotori.
After a few minutes of us washing ourselves, Kotori breaks the silence by saying "We should probably get out soon or our hands might get wrinkly.
"Yeah" I reply awkwardly.
When we got out of the bath and headed to get our pajamas on I realized something. I hadn't brought any clothes. Great. I guess I was just too excited when she asked me to come over that I forgot. I sighed.
"Is everything ok Umi-chan?" Kotori asks.
"Well I kinda forgot to bring clothes.."
Kotori laughs and says "You're just hopeless aren't you?"
I sigh again. "I guess so"
"Well, you can borrow mine if you want."
"Well I guess I have no choice huh?"
"Nope."

After we got dressed we just kinda sat awkwardly for a few minutes. That's when Kotori says "Umi-chan...I've been meaning to tell you something for quite a while now."
Startled I reply "Eh? What is it?"
"Well..I-I love you Umi-chan."
I felt my face get really hot. "W-what?!" Was I really hearing this.
"I've always found you charming since we were little." It was time for me to confess too. "Well the truth is, I love you too." Kotori smiled brightly. Then, she gave me a passionate kiss. "I say we go to bed Umi-chan." Kotori says. " Goodnight." She then gives me another kiss before laying down.
