{EDITED}

Today is the day-the day where I become an adult, again. Today is my eighteenth birthday. Or Gonzalo and Is' birthday.

I creep into his bedroom, it's around five thirty. I'm currently wearing my shark onsie.

"Dun dun." I start inching closer to his bed. "Dun dun." He pulls his covers over his head. "Dun dun." I continue. (That rhymed)

"Alexis, get out." He throws a pillow at me.

"Dun dun." I kneel in front of his bed. "Dadada." I slowly rise to see him glaring at me.

"Why lord, why me?" He looks up to the ceiling.

"Oh, come on what's today?" I tease. "Twins?" I stick out my fist. He sighs.

"Twins." He pounds my fist and gets up. "Now, get out." He pushes me out and closes his door.

"How rude." I say and cross my arms. (Where my full house FAM at)

I walk into the bathroom and put on Spotify. I quickly take a shower and walk out. I turn on my curling wand. I put on my undergarments, and lay out my outfit. I quickly curl my hair, and put on my clothes. (The outfit on the right). With my black sandals.

I grab my bag and try to slip away undetected. I peer around the corner and there's no sign of Gonzalo. Or so I thought.

"Change." He turns around in his chair and stares at me.

"Oh, come on." I pout. "It's our eighteenth birthday. Please." I plead with my famous puppy dog eyes.

"Okay fine." He sighs.

"Wait, why'd you give up that easy?" I question.

"Oh, you want me to yell at you or..."

"No I'm fine." I kiss his cheek, "happy birthday." I steal a spoonful of his cereal before leaving. I open the door and see Ricardo.

"Change." He crosses his arms.

"Oh, come on. Is this a two for one special?"

"How'd you leave the house in that?" Xavier asks when I get in the car.

"I'm an adult now." He looks at me knowing that I'm lying. "I paid them." I put on my seatbelt.

"Ah, that's better. Happy birthday, how about we get wasted and make out with cute boys tonight?" Xavier suggests

"Um boyfriend in the backseat." Jay grumbles.

"Oh, now we're dating, didn't seem like that yesterday." He parks and gets out of the car.

"What's that all about?" I ask Jay.

"He wants me to," he looks around then leans closer to my ear, "come out of the closet. But I'm scared." His fist tightens around his backpack strap.

"What's scarier, coming out or losing him?" I leave him standing in the hallway.

I walk to my locker to see it decorated with balloons and cards. I smile and open my locker. Confetti shoots out of it and I fall back.

"Holy shit." I turn around to the crowd around me. "Okay, who tried to kill me? I was just trying to learn." I huff and grab my books.

"Happy birthday!" The dance team yells.

"Aw, thanks guys." I see the presents in there hand. "Is it Christmas already?" I smile rubbing my hands together.

"Sure call it that." Monica shrugs throwing her arms around my shoulder.

"Thanks, you guys didn't have to do this. But it would be rude to say no."
