Jared's P.O.V.:

I open my eyes to the sun shining on the Dawson's bare back. She had her head resting on my shoulder, my arm wrapped around her. The sweet, addictive smell of her still hung in the air from last night. The way she begged and called my name, it got me going.

Before I worked myself up too much, I looked down at Dawson and kissed the top of her head. Her eyes flickered open and immediately glanced up at me. A smile grew on her face as she greeted me, "Morning."

I smiled down at her and kissed her nose, "Good morning."

Dawson sat up and pulled the sheet up to cover her front. She wiped the sleep out of her eyes and pulled her hair up in a messy bun before jumping out of bed. I get up too and follow her as she heads to the shower. Her perky ass peeked out from behind the bed sheet.  I smack my hand against her butt as she closes the door.

"Babe!" She playfully cries and spins around.

Dawson lays her hands on my chest as I trap her against the wall, "God damn I can't keep my hands off you."

My hands travel up and down her sides, stopping at her bare hips and put them next to mine.

"We don't have time." She giggles as she places her lips against mine.

I release her and she pulls back, "Well I have a meeting with my publisher today. I can meet you back here and then we can figure something out for dinner." She starts the shower, making the room fill with steam.

I nod as she steps into the shower, then peeks her head out behind the shower, "Coming?"

After the shower, Dawson put together her outfit as I left. I didn't really want to leave her, for so many reasons, but it would only be a few short hours.

I sat outside the set and watched the crew set up the scene. The few guys and girls walked back and forth across the floor as I pondered my next move with Dawson. I knew that I wanted to take it to the next level, and it wasn't solely influenced by the fact she was carrying my kid. The thought of actually marrying her was increasingly taking over each of my thoughts when I was with her. She just had a way with me.

I picked up my phone and quickly dialed Shannon as I saw the scene reaching its final stages. As soon as he picked up, he sounded quite surprised.

"What's up, brother?" He asked, with a sleepy undertone.

"Hey, would you mind bringing over Mom's old ring tonight? You can stay for dinner and all that. Dawson would be happy to see you."

I could hear shuffling as he got out of bed and found his jeans from the day previous, "Hell yeah! You're really going to kneel down, huh?"

Giving the ring to Dawson sounded even more astonishing, even more real, "It's the right time."

"I believe you. I can't wait to see you guys tonight. I'll swing by around six, sound good?"

As the staff sets down the final pieces to the scene, I step out of the car and head towards the wretched place, "Yeah, sounds good, " I didn't know if Dawson wanted the news of her little rugrat to be leaked to the public to quickly, "See you then."

I wrapped up the day with little energy spent. This roll didn't require being on set most of the time, luckily, so the amount of energy spent was slim. The time not spend at the set would be put towards helping Dawson set up the spare bedroom into a nursery. With only a month away, we needed all the time we could get our hands on.

As I drove away and towards the house, I got a call from Dawson, "Hey there."

Her sweet, comforting voice greeted me. The way she talked told me she was smiling, "How was shooting?"

"Fine. They told me they would call me in from now on. So now we can focus on setting up the nursery and names, baby stuff."

Her groan and shuffles suggested she had other plans, "I don't even want to think about all that right now. Little one is getting restless and there's no place set up in the house yet."

Her voice started getting stressed as she listed all we had to do until Zero period, as she referred to as her due date. "Okay, well let's start with getting another doctors. Then we can worry about getting the kumquat a room in the Leto hotel."

"Getting who?" She asked.

"Bobby the Baby, little tiny human, yuko uno. C'mon its funny." I giggle, pulling into the driveway. As I shift into park, I notice the lights on in the house and Dawson's car in the driveway. Dawson walked to the glass walls facing the driveway to look at me, her arms were crossed and hip stuck out.

"Just get inside, Dork." Dawson laughs and hangs up, waving out the window at me.

I scrunch my nose and cross my eyes then scratch my head like a chimp. As I get out of the car and made my way to the front door, I see her smiling face, spread with a smile.

"Shannon's stopping by for dinner." I announce, bringing her into my chest and kissing her.

She closes her arms around my midsection and lays her forehead on the bareness of my shirt, "I'll set another place."

She bounces off to the kitchen, her sweats dragging on the ground, bun sliding crazily on her head, and smile still painted on. More recently, she had been smiling, regardless from moving back or the baby. I wouldn't be too sure why, but as long as it didn't fade, I wouldn't question.

When she lines the table with the additional plate, I head back into the room to change. The door bell draws me out, and my heartbeat starts to ring in my ears. It was loud, demanding, stomach-churning like a roar from the vicious, nervous beast that came out only to torture me, but this was good. I tried to manage it, pushing some of it down as my brother comes and hugs Dawson.

"Shannon!" She calls, jumping up and hugging him. He welcomes her, picking her up and spinning her around. He sets her down and holds her shoulders as he looks down to her baby belly.

"Is that what  I think it is?" He says with a little laugh.

"Yeah." She whispers with a smile, "Little ol' baby."

"Baby!" Shannon screams, bending down and takes in her bump.

"Oh my God, " Dawson laughs, "I'm through with you two." She covers her face with her hands and retreats back into the kitchen to tend to dinner.

Shannon looks to me and smiles, reaching into his pocket. He brings out a little velvet blue box, the worn sides bring back memories of my childhood. Seeing that box on my mother's vanity always made me imagine what this day would be like, for me or my brother.

As he places the box in my palm, he nods, smiling at me, "Dawson would make Mom happy."

I smile, feeling the beast subdue and tears begin to line my eyes. My arms bring my brother in, and his the same. We let go and join Dawson at the table.
