"What mark did you get? I heard that the class averaged near 76%." Danny peered over my shoulder at my test percentage.

I spun my head around with my test in my hand to face Danny, "82%, I don't think I did that bad this time."

His lips curved into a smile and he held out his fist and gave me a brofist. "I got 74%, I did really bad this time." he chuckled.

He didn't seem bummed about his low mark, or anything. As a matter of fact, he actually seemed happy about it.

"So Little Miss Sunshine, what's up with the cheery, happy attitude?" I laughed, stuffing my test in my desk.

"Well, I'm Little Miss Sunshine, what do you expect?" Danny joined into my laughter, even though what he said, wasn't necessarily the funniest.

He's gotta learn better puns to scream out when he's fighting ghosts.

The last bell rang and as soon as it did, everyone shot out the door like bullets from a gun.

Lancer waved his finger, shaking his head, as in 'no' to us while making that weird "Uh, uh, uh." noise to us. Danny and I knew that this was probably the punishment he was talking about.

We stood up and headed over to his desk, like sweet, little obedient kids. Now just hand me a lollipop, and maybe I'll love you forever. Note the sarcasm.

"I was going to give you both a small punishment, but now, you both are gonna be here for the whole night!" Lancer seemed pretty ticked off, and I could see an open flame happening on his bald head from all the rage he had. Don't take that literally. If he did have a fire on his head, it would be by me and my trusty magnifying glass.

Danny looked over at me, biting his lip nervously, and I bit mine too. Lancer never liked the both of us, so he was bound to give us something stupid, like licking the whole school floor clean. That would've been ridiculous if he requested that, but I highly doubt the fact that he can make us do that. If he can, then I guess I would taste school floor for the rest of my life.

He sprung up from his seat like a grasshopper, and pointed to the door, "Follow me, and this time, there's no escaping." He shot us both a stern glare, and this time, made us walk in front of him, so he could watch us and make sure we weren't going anywhere.

I was practically yanked, almost like a dog on a chain with a horrible owner. There are many things I could've framed Lancer for, but my parents never believed me in my past attempts, so I doubt anything would change their minds this time.

Lancer pushed the two of us in the school cafeteria, well, behind the counter that is. There were stacks of dirty dishes, most or all of them were stained with meatloaf. "Clean every single plate here, and don't leave 'till you do so." Lancer shoved us in and locked the door behind us. He walked away with a huge smirk on his face. Danny and I had toppled over, with him on the bottom and I on the top. Luckily, I had landed on his back, and not on the other side of him, otherwise that would've been awkward.

I got up and dusted myself off, coughing a bit from the amount of dust that laid on the unswept ground, "Sorry."

"It's fine, Rose." Danny replied, also getting up and dusting himself. He began to sneeze a bit, until I stopped his sneezing by placing my finger under his nose.

"Thanks." he looked up and smiled for a bit, that is, until he saw the truck load of dishes we had been told to wash.

"I guess we're stuck in here for at least a couple of hours." I shrugged, "This should be like, teen abuse, or something. It's sort of ridiculous that he can force us to wash dishes. Isn't that like the cafeteria lady or the custodian's job?" I scratched the back of my head, and Danny did the same.
