The weight of the world
Brings down even the most spectacular of creatures,
But let's lift the weight together
And then our souls can soar again.
Across the lands,
Into the deep, blue sky,
Never seeming like time ever passes us by,
To see the sights we couldn't see
When our bodies were chained to a land of no opportunity.
As the clouds move slowly still,
We'll be above the ones who filled our spirits with rage and sorrow,
Showing them we don't need to borrow
from their negative hearts.
And many times you'll think
"This just can't be done"
But that's the reason why we've never won,
The war that rages on, more and more still,
We're made by people who let their inhibitions take control,
Never fixing that demented soul they've kept inside,
Letting more and more torturous time pass by,
So why should we turn into those things
When we can just find our own wings.
And that gravity that's pulled down on us for so long
Will let us free, breaking the shackles we have
So please,
Help me lift this weight,
And see where we can be taken by fate.
