These words are twisted in my mind,
And that pain that I tried to leave
Has come back and took away my self control,
And you know that I've been waiting all this time
But you still make me sigh, as I spend those lonely nights wiping my eyes
I've said goodbye to all those feign dreams I needed to survive.
So you take your precious time,
And you can take mine too if you don't have enough,
Because I've given you everything else I've had,
So it wouldn't make difference to me.
I already know you can't see it,
I've always held onto my view of you.
I thought you'd notice me if I stood out,
But of course, my efforts were always in vain.
So for once,
I'll give in,
I'll fold my cards,
And walk away.
I'll save my worries for a rainy day,
'Cause tonight I want to be free,
Not let my thoughts about you cause me misery.
