My melodramatic heart,
Catching me at every beat.
Making my brain go mad,
Making my soul scream.
I've tried to break free from its grasp,
But with no avail, for it's known me too long.
When I dream, it calls my name.
When I cry, it feels the same.
It weaves me into my destined plans,
And tries to slip me away from harm.
During times when I have troubles,
It's my lucky charm.
But,
My melodramatic hearts tearing me apart,
I have no way to turn.
These emotions are suffocating,
I'm hurting more and more,
Because I forgot to listen to its warning,
When will I ever learn....
