As my soul and heart entwine,
A feeling comes to my mind,
And I can't believe what I want to say.
Those piercing eyes
Make me want to scream it to you,
But the courage I have always fades.
You don't notice, do you?
How my eyes naturally seem to follow
Your simple movements,
Your casual pace,
It's become instinct for me to look for you in a crowded place.
How can I stop this?
Should I even try?
My heart's become dazed.
That smile of yours,
Makes me forget what I want to believe,
And I want to chase and retrieve
Everlasting happiness for you.
But,
If I was to tell you,
Would you say it's okay?
Or would you hide from me,
And turn the other way.
These pessimistic views
Churn me until I'm fully confused.
So, if you don't mind,
Don't let my feelings wind,
Slowly, as I leave everything behind,
And become a pile of dust.
Realize why,
Why I don't look for other guys,
And, hopefully,
Tell me those words I cannot say.
