New land

I thought I was dead at that moment when everything went black. I opened my eyes slowly, seeing a polluted sky and it had the worst smell ever. "Oh jeez it stinks!" I covered my nose, sat up and looked around seeing dead grass all around followed by some ripped flat tires lying around with broken buildings in the distance, "Where am I?" My eyes widened, realizing I'm not in my home town. I gasped and looked around fast, "Steve! Jon! Are you there?!?" I didn't get a response and just heard my echo traveling down the land. "Hello?" I stood up slowly, dusting myself off. "What is this place? Is anyone alive here?" I started walking toward the area where the broken down buildings are. I looked around finding nothing but the same thing as I mentioned before, hearing crunching sounds every step I take. A sound of a pole hitting the ground could be heard from a distance ahead as my ear twitched. I quickly hid behind a tire looking at the place. I saw an Otter boy singing a song I've never head before, swinging a very rusted straightened object. "Oh. Heh it's just a young boy." I stood up and walked to him caustiously. He just plays more with his object, does a front flip and swings down hitting the ground as he says, "Hah haaaaah I got ya!" I give a slight chuckle, still walking to him. He looked my direction and noticed me, "hey! Stop right there!" He said as he started charging at me. I laughed a little watching him run at me with that thing. He was getting close and stopped a short distance away from me, holding his rusted thing as a spear. Getting a clear look at him, he was a brown furred Otter with a scar on his arm, wearing tornup-dirty clothing, violet colored eyes, and oddly purple colored claws. "Who are you and where did you come from?" He said. I raised my paws a little and replied, "I'm Jay Wenskly and I'm from, Earth?" He squints his eyes, staring at me for a couple seconds. He lowered his weapon and turned around, "come with me." he said. I followed him debating to myself if this is a city or town. Should it matter? Hmm well I guess it does. Still following him from behind I asked, "So uh where am I?" He looks back at me then back ahead and said, "This is a terrible place. And now we are having people from this 'Earth' You say, now," I look around, finding lots of ruble, rusted metal, and a few buildings still standing, looking like it could collapse at any second. I thought about what he said and asked, "So there are more people from Earth?" He replies, "Well yeah, I wouldn't say that if I just met someone from somewhere new." "Hmh." I said. He walks to a small building that is as rusted as the buildings back there but it looks properly built and would last longer than those buildings standing. I looked up and down the building as he says, "This is where I bring all you people. Don't worry you might think it's small from here but you'll have to look inside to find out." He Jogs inside, "Come on!" "Hey! Wait for me!" I retorted, following him. It was very dark inside but I kept running ahead, hearing his footsteps. "Wow you were right this is bigger that I thought." I kept running and noticed a small shine of light in a far distance away. He says, "Heh things get a lot more better!" The shine of the light grows bigger, "What's your name by the way?" I said. "Well it's-" suddenly I felt nothing below me, falling, "AHHH!!!"
He yells down as it echoes, "It's Tod!" I continued to scream feeling like this is my last breath. Soon after falling for a few seconds, I passed some torches hung onto the wall giving me a little light on how much space I had. It was about enough space for me but not too big. I noticed a greater light from below. The closer I got, I noticed it was a giant furnace fire. "HOLY SKUNK BABIES!!" I panicked and flailed around wildly. While doing that my sleeve touches the fire from one of the torches. I felt a burning sensation on my arm. I took a look at my sleeve noticing it's on fire, "Oh no oh no oh no oh no" I patted the area with the fire but that made it worst when it was spreading throughout my shirt shirt to my fur. While I was distracted I looked down widening my eyes, quickly clenching them thinking it's all over for me now. I couldn't control my movement but felt like I was rolling down a curved corner as the fire has spread to half of my arm. "Whoaoaoaoaoaoa" A little hatch opens as I go flying inside. I opened my eyes to see if I was dead but realized I'm spinning and falling now. The burning feeling went down when I rolled. I then land on a love seat, catching it on fire. I sat up very dizzily, "ahh! My arm!" I looked at the couch trying to keep my balance noticing it's on fire. "I'M GONNA DIE!!" I heard a woman's voice running to me, "OH MY GOD! DAMN IT TOD!!" I was still a bit dizzy but could see a wolf girl with orange fur, white fur on the chest, stomach, upper arm to the paws, on her muzzle, around over her eyes with three white circles on each eye and eyebrows, going from the leg down to the feet paws except the toes, the toes are orange, a black bold line around the shin, black ears, yellow eyes, black nose, black claws, black paw pads, and an orange tail with red stripes. She dumped a bucket of water over me taking out the fire. "Oh thank you." I said. She says, "You might want to get up." "Huh?" I looked  realizing the couch hasn't been let out, "Holy moly on the doly!" I quickly got up and away from the couch. A young girl runs past me with another bucket of water, "Here's another bucket!" She said with a high pitched voice. She handed the bucket to the wolf girl. She dumps the water on the couch and takes out the rest of the fire. I watched them when more people came to me, seeing a diversity of animals as in, wolves, foxes, deer, skunks, and tigers. "Uhh H-hello?" I said nervously with a small wave. Everyone inched closer like I was some kind of food or award everyone has to get. "Uhhh" I said. "Ok ok back it up back it up!" a familiar voice demanded. Everyone steps back as Tod goes through. "Ok sorry about the uhh fire and everything, that was not part of the falling thing. BUT let's move on and pretend that never happened ok? Ok." I look at him with slight anger on my face, "You See this arm? It's missing fur!!" He examines my arm, "I'm positive it will grow back." He looks at the others, "Ok guys this is Jay uhh." "Wenskly" I said. "Yeah this is Jay Wenskly. I found him outside of this town and thought he's another one of you earthly people that are here." He said. "What is this place if it's not earth!" I said. He looked at me, "Like I said its a terrible place." He then walks off into another room. Not clearly answering my question.
