On the search

The sun is getting close to setting. Steve and Jon were hid behind bushes. When the coast was clear they ran in an ally. Police cars were everywhere hearing the sirens going off every second through the neighborhoods. "They're everywhere! How will we make it through here!" Steve said quietly. Jon replied, "Shh just follow me"   He walks out from the bushes scanning the area. Steve followed behind cautiously. A few officers were spotted, not facing their direction. One officer said, "Wow these kids are master hiders." The other officer replied, "Yeah. But did you hear about what happened to them?"
They continue their conversation as Jon and Steve snuck past them, "I heard that they were at an old abandoned house but I don't know what happened next. I missed the news that was happening at that moment too. They've taken down the video so no one else could see it." The first officer said. Jon and Steve were past them as their voices were fading but heard, "Well those kids that we are looking for were involved in it. There was a giant tentacle creature that was behind the house. About 3 or 4 tentacles were out from behind the house." Steve says, "They were talking about that thing that took Jay. We need to find that house." Jon replies, "First we need to know where we are and where it is." They tried hiding their faces as they walked by a crowded area with a lot of people walking by. A few sirens can be heard from a distance. Jon grabbed Steve's arm and pulled him into the crowd. The sirens were getting louder as they stopped in our area. Steve had an "Oh crap!" Face while trying to pick up the pace of the crowd. Everyone's ear twitched hearing the doors shut on the car. "Just keep blending in, just keep blending in." The cops walked in their general area talking on their walkie talkie. Jon grabbed Steve's paw and started cutting through the crowd. The officer noticed the commotion in the crowd and said, "Hey! Stop right there!" Steve says, "They found us!" A few people from the crowd noticed them saying, "Whoa aren't those the kids that were involved with that monster? Those kids were at the house! Whoa! Wow! They were on the news! They were with that beast on TV!" Obviously there will always be that one person that will take things the wrong way, a female squirrel saying, "Aww they're holding paws!" The crowd made an open path in between them. The officers ran passed them, catching up to them. They looked back noticing the officers arengetting closer. Steve's eye widen asking, "hey what's that boss monster's name that would chase us on our first person game?" Jon answers, "Nebreau" Steve says, "Thanks because THE NEBREAU IS GONNA SUCK MY LIFE OUT!!" Jon throws him on his shoulders and looks around for a good spot. More police cars could be heard from behind and ahead of them. Steve's yells, "We're trapped!!" The police cars arrived in front of us and stopped. Once they stopped Jon jumped right on top of the police car, sliding across it, jumping off continuing the lath he's going. He took a sharp left past a tree as Steve's head leaned over to his turn, hitting a tree branch, "Ow!" Jon says, "Heh heh sorry about that!" He runs through a park and hides behind the slides. Steve's hops off his back looking around as his nose twitch like crazy. . Jon says panting, "Ok it must be safe here." Hearing the children play, some look at them but continue playing. One female zebra child stopped and looked at them. "She walks towards them saying, "Hey I saw you on the news." She seems about six or seven years old. They widen their eyes thinking she's going to rat them out. she continues, "That look so scary, that big monster was holding you both high in the sky. Were you both scared?" They look at each other then back at the young girl and nod at the same time. She says, "yeah that great big scary monster is gone forever now!" Steve thinks a little and says, "Gone forever? How did they get rid of that thing?" She answers, "The police dog told me they put away the hole with Uhhh... Oh! Cement I think they call it." Jon and Steve froze with there eyes widened, not moving a muscle. The little girl looked at them with the "huh?" face and looks at both of them for a few seconds, "Hello? Are you two ok?" She waves her hoof in front of their faces, still no sign of movement from them. "Ok. I hope this made your day!" She runs off and plays back in the playground. Jon snaps out of it, shaking his head, "With that cement covering the ground, how do we get to Jay now?" He looks at Steve, who still has a frozen facial expression. He stands up, watching his head, getting in front of him, "Umm Steve?" He waves his paw in front of him. Steve gives a slight nose twitch. Jon raises an eye brow. "I GOT IT!- OW!" Steve yells hitting his head on the slide and Jon Jumps back startled, "Jeez dude warn someone before scaring me like that." Steve grabs his shoulders and in his face, "What if we find that sphere thing!!" He gets closer with wider eyes and his nose touching his in excitement, "With that we could maybe reopen that hole portal thing and find Jay!!! Jon gently pushes Steve back, "ookaaaay um I have no idea what you are talking about." Steve says, "Oh right you were possessed or something" Jon replies, "Whaa?" Steve says, "I'll talk about it later, right now let's find the house and I might know how, come on!" Steve gets up and runs down a road and Jon follows behind cautiously.
