Nightmares- Larry (One Shot)

I couldn’t move, it was coming closer. Closer. Huge, sharp teeth, menacing eyes. I tried to scream, but my voice was lost in my throat. It came closer, closer. And there was nothing I could do. I was helpless.

I let out a scream, sitting up in the bed Lou and I shared. My body was caked with sweat, salty tears rolling down my cheeks. My whole body was shaking. 

“Shh Harry, everything’s alright now, I’m here, it’s okay.” I felt strong arms wrap around me, a husky whisper soothing me. I melted in Louis’ arms, letting out a whimper. I was so shaken, I couldn’t say anything.

“It’s okay baby, nothings going to hurt you now.”

Finally my breath started to become more controlled. I  buried my head in Louis’ bare chest, sniffling.  I felt a hand running through my mop of curls. ” I got you baby.” He kissed the top of my head, slowly laying back down. I basically crawled on top of him, my head still on his chest, right by his heart. It’s steady beat soothed me. 

“It was that nightmare again,” I whispered after a long while. “That monster. I couldn’t move. The sharp teeth, those eyes,” I shuddered, scruching up as much as I could on top of Louis. His hand made soothing circles on my shoulder blades, relaxing me.

“It was just a nightmare,” Louis murmured, kissing my temple. “I won’t let anything hurt you. I promise.”
