Chapter 4

After having that fancy dinner with Chrissy my phone rang and when I looked at it I saw Mason's name on my screen. My eyes went wide and my hand covered my mouth with shock.

What an idiot. Its just a call Anna, my subconscious words appeared.

"Whats wrong?" Chrissy asked worriedly.

I looked at her and showed her the screen of my phone. Her eyes widen and we both began to freak out. Wow.

"Ohmy! Answer it, Anna!!" She giggled but I can see how tensed and nervous she was.

I once looked at the phone as it continues to ring and finally after a beat I pressed answer.

"Hello?" I said in a small voice.

"Hey, beautiful. I thought you'll never answer." His voice was like a greek god and I melt.

"Mase, whats up?" Thats all I can manage to say. Keep it cool, Ann. My subconscious once said again. Damn.

"Where are you now?" He asked.

"I'm just chillin' with Chrissy in a coffee shop near by. But were almost finish, is there something wrong?" I kept my voice nice and sweet. But why is he looking for me? Ohmygosh.

"Okay, call me when you're home. I'm on my way there." He said firmly.

What?! Oh jeez, I can't help but to giggle and butterflies in my stomach exploded a million times and I could possibly die in a heart attack now. This man is driving me insane.

"Are you kidding? Why?" Seriously, I don't know why I said that. Its obvious that I want to see him.

Stupid.

"Just let me know. Stop arguing, and I'm just a couple of blocks away." He snapped and he hung up.

OMG. What to do now?? I'm about to faint in front my best friend that was staring at me insanely and humiliate myself in public and in all the places in the world, in a peaceful coffee shop. Kill me now.

"What did he say?" Chrissy asked.

"He's going to the apartment. Gonna visit." The nervousness in my voice was obvious and I don't have the appetite to finish my frappe, coz' all I wanted to do is go home and see Mason.

Okay, I said it!

"Holy cow! That guy is a venom! So when will he visit?" I knew it, Chrissy will like the idea that he'll come over. I'm glad that she supports me no matter what.

"Like now? When we get home." I gave her a small smile and her eyes went wide.

"Crap! Seriously? We better go now!!" She roared and stood up rushing through the door and unzipping her bag to get her car keys. Wow I didn't expect that she'd react like this. She was more excited than me!

"C'mon Anna! We need to go home now so that you guys can talk.." She slammed the driver's door and started the engine.

My hands were sweating and it was gross but I can't help it, everything about that guys makes me nervous and no matter I deny the fact that I hate it, I always ended up giggling and blushing like a complete idiot.

As we arrived in our apartment, I saw a black Audi car that was parked outside our apartment. And I have a strong feeling that I know who was in there.

Mason "Mr. Venom" Hall.

"Damn, that guy really knows how to impress a girl." Chrissy was amazed as she parked the car outside our apartment and beside Mason's car.
