We ordered Chinese for dinner, as usual and spent the night at the apartment. Chrissy plugged her iPod and maximized the volume of the speaker. I jumped in the couch and stretched my arms and legs, good thing I'm wearing my PJ's and its much more comfortable. Best feeling in the world.
Chrissy sat next to me and tugged her hair back with an elastic. As the song "Bad Girls" started playing we began singing and throwing our arms up.
"You look different. This morning you were dead. But now, its like you are sort of, resurrected. What the hell happened to you?" She glanced at me and breaking her chop sticks into two.
"Let say someone saved me from death. Hows that?" I smiled and winked at her. Still tilting my head from side to side as the beat jammed me.
"What? Who? Mason?" She arched her brows and I wanted to laugh but I forced myself not to.
"No." I frown and lowered my head.
"What? I don't get you. Is there something you're not telling me, coz darlin' you ain't gonna hide things from me!" Here goes her Black American accent and as she slapped my shoulders and I dropped my chop sticks.
We began laughing and I started to tell her about my problem about Mason and asking for her advice. Her eyes widened when she heard the story and she began to freak out.
Well I was expecting for that. As always.
"What the hell? Who's that bitch? She can't do that to you! Mason is falling for you and theres nothing she can do about it!" She was so mad at Cindy and I can tell that shes really my best friend.
Well, thats common sense, of course if someone will threaten you like what Cindy did to me, its obvious that your friends will react to that.
Why are you so dumb?
"Calm down, Chris. I already told Mason about it and he's fixing it. I trust him." I answered with a cold voice.
"Make sure he's doing it right or else I'll beat the crap out of him and her mistress! She was furious and all I can do is laugh at her reaction. I really love her to death.
"Don't be silly. She's not his mistress. And besides you said he's falling for me, so theres nothing to worry about." I chuckled and finished my food.
After going to my first class, Mason and I talked for a while and he walked me to the cafeteria before he left. He's going to the airport to pick up her sister, Emily.
He also invited me for dinner with her sister tonight, well I hope everything will be okay and I'm kinda nervous. Mason showed me a photo of Emily before and she was really beautiful, she looked like the girl version of Mason. And I really need to look for some fancy dress to wear this evening!
"Hey, mind if I borrow some dress from you?"
"Sure sis. For what? You have a date?" She smiled.
"Uh. Not really. Mason's sister will arrive this afternoon and he invited me to join them for dinner. So, I'll be out tonight." I placed my hair to the left shoulder and started brushing it. Chrissy stared at me for a second with her mouth opened.
"Alright. No problem with that. I'll help you find a dress after class. And you need to look gorgeous so that he'll be more proud!" Chrissy's fighting spirit gave me more courage and confidence for tonight's dinner, and it lessen my nervousness.
I was really nervous and I can't stop thinking about the dinner. I even thought that I was hallucinating because I kept on seeing people passed by who looked like Emily. Like what the hell? Am I that crazy?
