"Its a woman! And I can feel her breathing! She's still alive!!" A guy shouted.

"Call the ambulance now!"

"She's stuck! I can't lift her up, it might break her ribs!"

Several unfamiliar voices shouting and panicking. Everything was in pitch black, as if I was drunk and passed out. My whole body was numb and hard and I don't know what is real and what isn't anymore.

I swear I can feel Mason in my arms, smell his fresh scent. I can hear his soft laugh, which was always reserved for the dark, as if we are curled around each other in bed. I opened my eyes and there was light. It burned my eyes and made my surroundings distorted. Then I heard deep voices, clanking.
There was a machine beeping and it seems to match the beat of my heart as it hits my chest, but it sounds too slow and uneven.

Oh my... What happened?

"Anna?" A familiar voice appeared.

I turned my head and found Chrissy standing with a glass of water in her hand. Her eyes were puffy as if she's been crying for hours. She placed her other hand on my shoulder, rubbing it on the thin cloth I'm wearing.

I looked at her beautiful face and smiled. "Hey." My voice was harsh and husky.

"How are you feeling?" Her voice was calm but the pain in it can't be hide.

I smiled. "Feeling a lot better." I lied.

Everything is heavy and aching: limbs, head, eyes.

"Okay that's good. But you need to rest. Tom and I will go back to the apartment to get you some clothes and we'll buy food too. So you better sleep now." She said. But I shook my head. I don't want to sleep. It feels like I won't be able to wake up anymore. "Don't be stubborn Anna. Please. You're making me worried." She added.

I nodded and closed my eyes. "Okay. I'm sorry. Just wake me up if you get back." I said and I immediately fell asleep.
Well that was fast.

My hands gripped the steering wheel as the pain crushed through my chest and conquered my system. His voice, anger, pain, everything dark spread through my mind and seeing her car outside his house made me sick.
How can I deal with this?

And suddenly....

There's a light.

Its getting closer and closer and it made me blind. I can't see a thing. Just a very bright light. And I heard a loud horn and high pitched break and I passed out.

I have a pressing need to pee. I open my eyes. It's dark except for a sidelight, and all is quiet. My head and my chest ache, but more than that, my bladder is bursting.

Damn, I need to pee.
As if I wasn't able to pee for a day.
I test my limbs. My right arm smarts, and I notice the IV attached to it on the inside of my elbow. I shut my eyes quickly. Turning my head-I'm pleased that it responds to my will-I open my eyes again.

And what surprised me the most was, someone was here.
And its him.

Its Mason.

He is asleep, sitting beside me and leaning on my bed with his head on his folded arms. I reach out, grateful once more that my body responds, and run my fingers through his soft hair. I've always wanted to touch him, and I couldn't get enough. But what is he doing here? He's mad at me, right?
He shouldn't be here. He should be with Cindy.
Mason startles awake, raising his head so suddenly my hand falls weakly back onto the bed.

"Hi." I croak.

"Oh, Anna." His voice choked and relieved. He grasps my hand, squeezing it and holding it up against his stubbled cheek.
