After fixing my things I went down in the kitchen to get some water and then I found Aunt Lucy sitting on the chair with a coffee on the table in front of her. I smiled at her as she greeted me while I continued walking towards the fridge.

"I've never seen Mason so happy." Her words caught me. "The way he watches you, everything is just real. Pure love." I turned my gaze on her and she smiled.

"You think so?" I said shyly while twisting the cap of the bottle.

The smile on her face deepens. "You're the first girl he ever brought here." My eyes widen in confusion.

Seriously?

"But he had past relationships, how come he didn't bring any girl here? This place is awesome and peaceful." I said in surprised.

Aunt Lucy laughed. "Oh dear, I'm aware about his past relationships, he tells me his problems more than he share it to his mother. Which makes me feel bad but that kid has a hard head." She continued to laughed. "I met her last girlfriend, Ms. Evans." Hearing her name makes my blood boil.

"Oh." I said with a low voice.

"I'm sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?"

I shook my head. "No. Please continue." I said immediately.

"I met her when they had dinner together at the Hall residence. She was clingy and acted so rude towards the maids and other helpers in the house. And yes, I didn't like her, well no one does." That made me smile.

Aunt Lucy placed her coffee back on the table and I found myself sitting beside her. Well no doubt nobody likes her, the moment we first met was still fresh in my head and yes I really hated her. And especially about the things that I just found out.

"I met her too. She wanted me to leave Mason alone. So I know how mean she is." I replied.

She chuckled. "But don't worry my dear, I know Mason will always choose you. To be honest he changed so much. And thats all because of you Anna." She smiled at me and I can see her tears started to pool in her eyes.

I hugged her. "I'm so happy that I met you, Aunt Lucy. You reminds me so much of my mom." My heart breaks whenever I mention my mom.

"Oh dear." She pulled back.

The look in her eyes couldn't stop me from telling her about my mom and I have a feeling that I can trust her with this. I told her everything that happened with my parents and she also promised me that she could be my second mother so whenever I needed someone to talk to she's willing to listen and help me. And that gave me a huge relief.

-----

Mason gave Aunt Lucy a warm hug before heading into the car. I walked slowly with my hand holding Aunt Lucy and seriously I don't wanna let go, it feels like the moment I held my mom on the time she was fighting for her last breath. It was the hardest thing ever that will always be in my memory.

"Thank you so much Aunt Lucy." I said giving her a long hug.

She smiled. "Its always a pleasure. Please come back again." She hugged me back.

"Of course. I'd love that."

I hugged her for the last time before jogging my way towards the car. Mason waved at Aunt Lucy before pulling the car out. It was sad to leave I admit but it was really refreshing to meet someone with a good heart and to see the beach. The sound of waves and the warm wind that brushes your skin. Everything was real and pure.

"You okay?"

I nodded. "Yeah." I replied.

"You're being so quiet." He said.
