After blow drying my hair I grabbed my lip gloss and applied a generous amount on my lips, I've been looking pale lately so I little coat of lip gloss could be a great help. I glanced one more time in the mirror before finally deciding to go out of the bathroom. I found Mason sitting peacefully on the couch with a hot coffee in his hand while waiting for me.
Well yeah I'm happy because he finally got the guts to tell me about his father but still a lot of secrets are yet to reveal and I'm willing to wait. But then the pain was still there, so I can't say that we're finally together again. I just can't rush myself to that. I need time, too.
"Hey, you ready?" He asked.
I nodded. "Okay, lets go." He grabbed my hand and walked the way through the door.
He opened the passengers door and helped me hopped inside. We drove passed to his house and our school and I started to be curious about where we heading. He just kept on smiling and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel.
Cute.
"If you're not gonna tell me where are we going I'll scream and jumped out of this car!" I yelled at him.
Still laughing. So freaking adorable. "So impatient. Just another five minutes and we'll be there." He chuckled and squeezed my knee.
I bit my lip and rolled my eyes as I turned my head on the window.
"I saw that."
"Saw what?" Turning my gaze back on him.
"You rolled your eyes at me." He said.
Damn.
"You can't stop me."
He grinned. "What makes you think I can't?" He said seductively. Oh boy.
"I'd love to see you try." I teased.
I heard him chuckle and that made me blush. After a minute I started to hear some waves coming from the beach, the car ran smoothly that gave me an idea that we've already driving on the sand. He swiftly parked the car beside a beach house and after a beat he killed the engine.
"We're here." He smiled.
I looked outside the window and a beautiful strong wind touched my face, I opened my door and hopped off the car and now I know why Mason told me to wear any comfortable clothes and good thing I chose plain tank top and shorts together with my favorite flip flops. Mason appeared surprisingly beside me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
"You ready?" He winked.
For what?
"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously.
He grinned. "You'll see." He chuckled.
Damn, this man is making me nervous.
"Just calm down." He added.
And he can read my mind. Great.
I bit my lip as we walked towards the porch and the house was insanely all white. Flower pots are amazingly arranged at the entrance together with a wooden old bench beside the front door. He knocked twice and the door opened as a old woman welcomed us with a spatula in her hand.
"Hello sir. Its good to see you again." The woman speaks.
Sir? Oh my god.
My gaze turned to Mase with a stupid shocked face and I'm pretty sure my mouth went O the whole time.
"Mrs. James. Its good to see you too." He responded. "This is Anna... Anna this is Mrs. James but she prefers to be called Aunt Lucy. She was one of our trusted worker in the family and she takes care of our beach house." He smiled and the old woman instantly smiled as she gave me a quick hug.
