I curled up scratching the top of my head and extremely annoyed because I can't seem to find the right position in my bed. I've been switching places, tucked my pillow under my head, pulled my blanket and kicked them as well. I glanced at my clock and it was almost 1:30am and I'm absolutely suffering from insomnia now which is not a good thing for someone like me who needs to go to work tomorrow morning and face a big step of my life for organizing a big event and still stunned for the fact that my boss chose me to organize everything, like seriously? I'm a newbie and I haven't proved anything to them, but I guess this is a good way to start of my career. An opportunity that could lead me to success and I need to do my very best, but for now I should focus my mind on sleeping before the sun rises and if things gets much worse, I'd turn into an absolute zombie.

BRAINSSSSSS!

The night went well and some of my expectations happened. Well in a different way, like Mason's mother wasn't a monster after all but instead she was lovely and she reminded me more about my deceased mother. And still there isn't such thing as a perfect family in this world and one example for that was his stepfather. Well, he really freaked me out and there was something about him and Mason that bothered me that every time Mason hears about him he instantly changes his mood. And I wanna know what happened to his biological father, like why didn't he tell me that he has a stepfather and what happened to his father? And I'm sure his dad is much more better than Mr. Meyer just like how Mason talked about him and some of his wonderful traits.

There's a light but its getting smaller and surrounded by darkness as I continued to look at it, reaching it. Familiar voices around me but I can barely see them, and the more I call for it the more it vanished.

"Everything's gonna be alright dear, don't be afraid." A female voice said.

Its too dark, and I heard voices. "I wanna get out of here, it all reminds me of the pain and sufferings I felt before." I answered trying to open my eyes widely but all I can see was purely black.

And suddenly I found myself under the sea, trying to reach the top of the water but something was strongly pulling me down and I'm drowning. I can't breathe.

"No one can hurt you dear. Only if you let them." The female voice speaks again but this time her words caught my attention.

Words that my mom used to say.

"Mom?.....Mom! wait! don't leave me!" I waited but she didn't respond.

I started calling her, screaming her name but I heard nothing, she's gone. She left me.

I'm all alone. And I'm back again in the dark. And then I felt something, someone shaking me as if I was fighting between life and death.

"Anna! Wake up!"

And then suddenly I realized it was Chrissy who was shaking the hell out of me and as I slowly opened my eyes I couldn't help but shut it again and squeezed it with my fingers when the light reached my sight.

What happened?

"Chrissy?" I murmured. Tears all over my cheeks and my pillows are soaked. Damn it.

"Whats wrong Ann? You kept on screaming and screaming so I rushed inside your room and found you like you've been possessed You were having a nightmare." She panicked and roared at me.

Ohmy, I was dreaming and my mom was there, I didn't see her but I heard her. I know it was her and I'm sure of it. She saved me from drowning but then she suddenly faded away in the midst. But was she actually saving me? Or just trying to help me? But everything is still a puzzle that cannot be solve.
